After reading the great reviews, I thought we just had to give it a try.
Wow, and not wow in a good way. First, we order at 2:40p and didn't get our food until 3:10p. We had ordered Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, Pork Fried rice & a side of Gyoza. There was no one there when we got there and only one person, maybe two had walked in the entire 30 minutes we waited.
(side note: The first thing I noticed when I walked up to order was a fake hand grenade that said "Complaint Department, Take a number") Hmmm....
Got home and attempted to eat what chicken that was burnt to a black crisp. I tried to eat some of the pieces that weren't 100% black but it was so dry and chewy I gave up. My wife tells me the pork fried rice was the worst that she ever tasted, although she said it had almost "no" taste. I didn't want to even try. Looking back, I should have taken a picture of the food for this review.
I haven't posted any reviews in quite awhile but I just had to post this to let others know.
I suggest that if you want good teriyaki, drive a few minutes down to...
Read moreTo Amber Anderson I explained about the food very well before you ordered and you fully understood what you were ordering. I said that the chicken bowl was mixed with the vegetables and you said that was what you wanted. Just because you changed your mind that you didn’t want the vegetables after paying for the food that you requested during the phone call, I have no obligation to cook you different food from the order requested just because you changed your mind after the fact. We never threw away your food, as I write this your food is still here, and you were always welcome to pick up the food you ordered, we also voided your payment even though we had no wrongdoing. We ask you to put yourself in our shoes and see if we are in the wrong. Threatening us afterwards saying that you would flood us with bad reviews makes us feel dejected. We always want to cook the best food our customers order and give quality service. We hope you can learn to see where you went wrong and try...
Read more4 corner teriyaki has a cult following and saying it isn't good is like committing the most heinous sin. You can't go wrong with basically anything on their menu, but of course the main attraction is the teriyaki. Whenever we go we always pick up a teriyaki chicken and a spicy teriyaki chicken. Their chicken yakisoba is also delicious. All their teriyaki plates come with a lettuce salad with dressing which is actually really good. Then there is their macaroni salad.... and when I say this stuff is addictive I'm putting it very lightly. I have never met a single person who hasn't loved it once they take a bite. It seems weird, macaroni noodles with a mayonaise sauce and various vegetables but trust me, just get an extra side of it.... you'll have regrets if you don't and nobody likes...
