Please see previous review in addition to this updated review. Maple Ridge shopping center has gotten a total makeover since my earlier review.
Hy-Vee has rented approximately 75% of the strip mall. There is a totally new convenience store with top notch food cooked fresh daily. There is Chinese food, sushi, Fresh whole pizzas you can take home and bake, hot dogs and burgers. There stuff is very pricey, but that is a part of their brand I think?
The poured millions in to rebuilding the old Rainbow building, it is now a Hy-Vee grocery store. It is a absolutely beautiful store.
They also have a gigantic Hy-Vee wine and spirits store. There is a exquisite cigar hemador in side with all the top brand cigars.
The best update is there is all new black top/asphalt. No more pot holes.. Thanks Hy-Vee.
Unfortunately Panera moved because they built a new store, on North of Hy-Vee next to Maplewood Mall.
Convenient location with the right mix of businesses. For example, fast food chinese (Leeann Chin), Papa John's Pizza, Caribou, and Rainbow Foods and the food shop are never to crowded. There is also an fitness center and Auto shop on site.
The parking lot is huge, but Please watch the pot holes if you drive around the back side of the shops to enter and exit because there are giant pot holes that can damage your care that need repairing after each winter which they eventually get around to plugging in, every spring they do minimum repairs. The entire parking lot needs resurfacing. The owner is very delinquent in this regard and is somewhat of a slum lord. If they did the right thing and upgraded the parking lot surface with new asphalt it with improve the appearance...
Read moreUPS store + Panera are great! Many reviews state ample parking. There is a massive lot.. but the 2 stars gone are for said parking lot. Poorly setup, tight corners, too many inlet/outlets, particularly when entering from White Bear Ave. There's a connection to businesses on the other side of the strip mall. They drive right through what is actually the entrance from White Bear Ave.. as if they have the right of way to cross to other areas or to exit. To compound that, the entrance/exit has no room for cars to lineup, just 1 car length. Add snow banks blocking view of...
Read moreI genuinely love this little tiny small shopping center. Because I can get my grocery is right there at hyvee And then right after that, I can use my points from there and get some change off per gallon of gas and then when I'm done filling app my tank for the week and getting my groceries, I just go down and go to the tobacco store and get all of my wraps in my vape for the week as well. So I kind of get everything done in that small area and such a short amount of time and it's so close to home and you really can't go wrong with the prices plus...
