Grandma Emma's Bake Shop — Restaurant in Maplewood

What an amazing little bakery! Very friendly folks in there, including Diane who I spoke with for almost 10 minutes, maybe a little longer while Chris was making our breakfast sandwiches.

We had bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches on bagels and everything bagels. All were great.

I also ordered an assortment of doughnuts and apple fritters. Again, all were amazingly delicious. So soft and fresh.

If I had to make a critique, I might say that the doughnuts felt or tasted a little more like a puff pastry than a doughnut.

But whatever you want to identify our sweet treats by they were soft, fresh, absolutely delicious, and I will be back to grab more breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts for sure!

Listen Everyone..Huge Announcement! This has got to be Thee Best homemade from scratch sweets and treats ever!! Walked in by just passing by. True Southern Baking, and Hospitality! I walked in, and was offered a sample piece of one of the very best carrot cakes ever baked. Reminded me of my mother's carrot cake, which I thought never could be closely duplicated. I ordered some treats, all fantastic! Fresh, Moist, not overly too sweet, and made with care! My children ans I loved every bite!! I will be back! Happy Customer! Make sure you go in and Try! We know Eric Dawson from the Brew Box cafe. He is one of the loveliest people on this planet. And the woman behind the counter today was a sweetheart. Eric’s cooking and Baking is soooooo delicious! You can taste the love in every bite. Today we had the Blueberry bean pie. Never heard of this pie before, but wow yummm! Fresh lemonade, with blueberries or strawberries. Oh my!
