Two consecutive visits to this location, each time I was served by their manager,Patricia.
Each time my products were made incorrectly, they were bland and lacking in flavor. I would expect better quality from her, seeing how she's in management.
So after the second visit and I was three quarters of the way done with my treat, I realized that the additional ingredient I requested wasn't in there. It's something I've ordered, and made myself many times before, so I'm very aware of how this is to taste.
So when I called and was like Hey I just want to let you know I left there and you forgot to add my additional topping, she immediately took the defensive and was like oh I made it myself and yes I did! I guess she didn't like to hear the fact that I too was once a manager for dairy Queen and I know what these products are supposed to taste like.
So after I begin to mention that I was a former dairy Queen manager, and that she wasn't making things to standard, she hung up on me.
Out of three dairy Queen locations within 20 miles of each other, I have to say this one has to be the worst one I've experienced.
There is a dairy Queen located on Tangerine and Thornydale that actually has a nice patio with tables and chairs in addition to a nice inside seating area with television.
The other location is Oracle and Rudasill, although located at a gas station it does have its own side of the building that includes a drive-thru, and this is one of the few dairy Queens in Tucson that actually serves their food.
So if you want a good place to have a good treats or to have a good treat AND a meal visit either one of those two locations as you will get far better service and quality at...

When I mentioned in to the kid at the window, he got a female kid to come to the window and she had mondo attitude and was schooling me that my dogs only get 3 oz.... That is not three oz unless maybe you weigh it with the dog bone in it. When I told her I order them all the time and it wasn't right.. She had the attitude of "oh well" and she wouldn't even top them off a little. I wasn't going to force the issue of EVERYTHING being wrong because I always think someone will do something horrible to the food. (My ex husband used to work in fast food in high school and had stories of what they all did). Nightmare visit for sure with nightmare emoyees. š Poor doggies only got a smidgen of ice cream on their Saturday drive. Bad...

You don't need to make it ahead of time but they will here! I also found out that they will put it under a fridge? (which she did not, she was holding it) until you drive up...and if you change your mind, they leave it for the next customer incase they order it...then throw it away. I told her it wasn't fresh then she proceeded to answer with an attitude, "yeah it is...I just made it!" When in fact it was made minutes before I got to the window. I then sat at the there, watching her hold my dipped cone TALKING to the cashier until they decided to open the window and take my money...which I refused to give this location and drove off...
