Lucky Wishbone — Restaurant in Marana

I'll start by saying that the people working here are great. They are super nice and friendly. They are more than eager to help even though there are self service machines. Overall just very pleasant.

I grew up eating lucky wishbone on the Eastside. I'm not sure if it's just this location, but I really didn't enjoy the food here. I ordered the chicken fingers combo. I felt like the chicken fingers were ok, they felt a little chewy because of the breading, almost like it wasn't fully cooked through (chicken wasn't raw or anything). The fries are like I remembered them, not really my style of fries, but also not bad. The bread was a bit buttered for me and for me, it lacked some salt. The other chicken finger place with fries and toast is the type of toast I really like.

I also ordered a chicken breast to try. I have never tried their fried chicken before. It was pretty bland and dry. I love the skin, as I am sure most people do, but because it was lacking so much flavor, I couldn't even eat it. The chicken itself was very dry as well and I took a few bites and had to throw it away.

I think management needs to look at some of these quality issues and...

I ordered online and it gave me an hour wait time.. I arrived 20 min early, knowing that.. Not a problem.. The girl that helped me was very nice and let me know it wasn’t ready.. Again no problem.. The girl bagging the food replied with a smart remark of, he’s 20 min early he’s gonna have to wait for being here early.. While at the restaurant I observed other people ordering and getting their food before me.. Idk how it took an hour to prepare my food.. I seen part of my order on the counter and asked if it was ready.. I got no, just waiting on the burger.. Ok still why an hour I wondered?!?! Then the once again the girl bagging replied with another smart answer.. Very rudely, it’s 3 minutes past his window he’ll have to wait... I’m sorry but that is horrible customer service for someone to respond in directly to a customer especially loud enough for me to hear.. Our first visit to the new Ina location and that’s not a good...

This is my second review so I've attached my 1st review as well. I went in today after dealing with Popeyes on river rd & never to return. It was like day at night, Destiny at Lucky Wishbone was very polite and open to helping make suggestions for dinner. She hit it out of the park I will not hesitate going back to Lucky Wishbone now for chicken as well. Better food better price and very important Excellent Customer Service from Destiny- Thank you !!! My message from a year ago -- I just went there today and they were amazing. The lobby was full and I was still in and out with a large order in a few minutes, I've waited longer at other places for a burger. The customer service was Fantastic and I would have given them more stars if possible. I had a large order & I missed it up, not the staff and the manager was awesome helping me understand my screw up. 😆 Very customer oriented, I will definitely 👍 be going back to...
