Went to Nicos for a breakfast burrito this morning, paid nearly 10 dollars for a burrito that is half empty. Anywhere else, the burrito is full. This burrito was mostly tortilla and was the size of a rolled taco if they would've rolled it tightly. This is absolutely ridiculous and a good reminder why we don't go to Nicos often. This is at any Nicos you go to around Tucson, seems like a scam to be charged This much for essentially a glorified taco. Avoid Nicos! Picture is of the burrito this morning compared to one of their salsas.

For the longest time we would get burritos on the weekend from here. We were returning customers because they had amazing and huge burritos. Lately the quality has gone down significantly and the amount of food that you receive has been unacceptable. Be leery ordering from here and know you will NOT get what you pay for.

We ordered a carne asada burrito, a carnitas burrito and super nachos. I have never seen or tasted worse carnitas (it was similar to thick-sliced, unseasoned, and overcooked pork tenderloin). 3 stars because the carne asada was decent and portions were large, but likely will not return

Egg shells don't belong inside a breakfast burrito! When I called the place to inform them, I got the young kid who answered phone, he didn't apologize, didn't offer to remake my order or credit my account, he was talking to the lady boss in the background letting her know our conversation & she told him to tell me to bring burrito back...like I'm going to drive across town to do that or hang onto burrito all day to smell up in my car. It was gross and upsetting already! Half way eating my breakfast burrito and I felt a crunch and nasty taste so I spit it out and opened my burrito to look, not just one egg shell but multiple ones, wow! I did notify the Health Department after speaking to the kid who spoke to them & they thought I don't speak Spanish but I do and understand how rude they were and weren't even nice enough to credit back the one burrito with egg shells in it that I grossed out on and threw away. Never again will I go there! Sad for them cuz they lost a regular customer but it just takes one screw up, especially when they are rude cuz they are busy and don't care to fix the problem. Gross, nasty, overpriced, rude & forget they will compensate you back for them messing up your order. WOW, talk about messed up way to start...

I recently placed a rather large order over the phone with a staff member named Linda. At the end of the call, I asked for the total cost of my order but was told she could not provide it and that I would receive the total when I arrived for pickup.

When I arrived, I was very surprised to find that the prices charged were almost double what was listed on Nico’s online menu. I had reviewed the menu beforehand, expecting that the prices shown were current and accurate. When I asked why I couldn’t be given a total over the phone, Linda stated that she had other customers to deal with.

I found the customer service to be very poor. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told no one was available. After being persistent, I was eventually given the owner’s information. Linda also asked me to pull up the online pricing so she could take pictures of it with her personal phone, which felt unprofessional.

This experience left me frustrated and disappointed. Clear communication and accurate, updated pricing are very important for customers, especially when placing large orders. I sincerely hope Nico’s Burritos will address this issue so future customers don’t encounter the same confusion and...

I have been coming to this Nicos for over 15 years and the food has always been good for what it is(fast Mexican food). The shredded beef burritos aren't what they used to be because the onions and peppers always drown out the actual shredded beef. So I simply stopped ordering the shredded beef burritos because I really dont want a veggie burrito. Also I understand inflation is up everywhere, but it seems like this Nicos raises the prices while making the burritos smaller than they used to be. All of that and I still kept coming back because its convenient, but my last visit a few weeks ago just might be my last for a very long time. I remember when they would put the salsa on the counter and you could take what you wanted. My last visit I was asked if I wanted salsa and my reply was yes I wanted 3 green and 3 red sauce. The lady said I could only get 2 of each? Really 2 small dinky sauces for each burrito? I usually ask for 3 or 4. You lost me as a customer because your trying to pinch pennies. What is the food cost for a sauce? Gonna lose dollars trying to save a nickel. I will be taking my business to Ina...
