1st of all I would like to say that the salty dog in Marco Island was very good food and the waitress was very good now for the cons.... the night manager I'm not sure what her name was but she's a blonde hair girl maybe in her thirties she was very unprofessional. We spent over $300 on food and drinks and both of our credit cards were left there because we got up to take a picture and then some people sat down in our seats so fast and maybe somebody handed the credit cards to the waiters and whatever happened two of us in our party of six left both of our credit cards. When my friend realized that he lost his credit card we called 4 times and no one answered the phone to retrieve the the credit card we had to go there. When our friend went back to pick up his credit card the waiter and bartenders and waitresses looked in the cash register and said it wasn't there, after looking in the office she said I have one more place to look at and it was the same place at the bartender look 3 minutes ago. meanwhile this manager finally came and she looked in the same cash register and she found it. My point is that two of us in the party of six left our credit cards they didn't have the credit cards together they didn't care about really looking for them. And then when I went back to pick up my credit card the little manager was very unprofessional and I asked her I said this was a big inconvenience and I asked her if there's something she can do and she says what do you think I'm going to do give you free stuff? And then she said people leave their credit cards here every day and I said well the guy even tipped you $20 for finding his credit card and then she says oh well I didn't ask him to give me money! Granted I'm a business owner and I've had many people call and my motto is the customer is always right, this was very unprofessional and rude. Both of our cards and the guy that picked up his card Even tipped them 20 bucks for finding his card where they should have given us 20 bucks for the inconvenience! This is why I'm leaving a bad review and whether it helps anyone at all I do not do business with business owners who have managers that take care of business like this. We come here every year and we will not give our business to this...
Read moreI have been to this establishment on several occasions and usually experience great service when sitting at the bar. As a Michigan resident who owns a home on Marco Island, I visit occasionally, often alone, and enjoy stopping by for a bite to eat. While I do not drink, I appreciate the food and always tip accordingly.
On Tuesday night, August 20th, around 8:30 PM, I stopped by for some tuna but ultimately chose the calamari and a new creamed corn dish. The food was excellent, as always. However, my experience was soured by two women seated nearby who claimed to be nurses. They were drunk, loud, and using foul language throughout the evening. I tried to ignore them for most of my visit until one of the women, clearly intoxicated, asked for some of my calamari. I politely declined, but she became belligerent and said things that were entirely uncalled for. The worst I said in response was that "I would throw it away before giving you one piece."
Despite the inappropriate behavior and offensive comments directed at me, the bartender did very little to address the situation. He asked her to calm down, but after that, he was not seen again, leaving me and other patrons to endure her rants for another 15 minutes. She continued making inappropriate remarks, even suggesting that if I were to become old and need care, she and others like her would neglect me. It was completely inappropriate and ruined what should have been a pleasant evening.
In my opinion, the bar staff should have cut this woman off long before my encounter with her. When I expressed my displeasure, the bartender should have taken more serious action to address her behavior. I understand she was spending more on drinks than my meal, but that is no reason to subject myself and other customers to such an unpleasant experience. This is not the kind of behavior I expect from a bar of this caliber, especially on...
Read moreWas there on Sunday about 8pm with a party of five. Service was pushy and slow.
Two of us had the ahi tuna tostadas. It was bad. Tuna poorly cut and was stringy and warm. Yuck. The tostada has avacdo in it and it was hard like a rock and soapy. This was awful and it used to be one of my favs.
One of us had wings that were undercooked, soggy, and no flavor. The person who ordered the wings said that he believed that 2Sheas must have changed to a cheaper wing source as the drummers were giant, fatty, and tasted off.
The other folks in out group had the mojo pork tacos that were stringy fatty and had no flavor.
The drinks we had were salty dogs and margaritas. All came with no salt and the waiter was butt hurt when we asked for the salted rims. Plus drinks seemed to lack booze as they were watery.
All in all this was a terrible visit. We eat here regularly and we were shocked at how fast this place has gone downhill. Is it because it was a Sunday, summer, change I. Kitchen staff, change in food supplier? Who knows. I do know that this place was always a go to for late eats ands drinks after a day at the beach. There are...
