Beebe's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Marco Island

We came here on one evening around 8pm, and it was quite busy. I guess everyone had the same idea… When we went back around 2pm on another day, it was the complete opposite, it was nice and quiet… Less than handful of people came and left with their sweet goodness.

They had lots of flavors, but you have to walk all over the store in order to see all the options, and therefore, line of people get lost... Then, whoever made a decision on what they want will call out to the staff and make their orders. Not very efficient when it is really crowded.

On the first visit, we got Raspberry Truffle in a cup and Pistachio in a cup. Single scoop was REALLY large! Super generous amount gets packed into the cup. You might want to think twice before ordering more than one scoop. They were very flavorful and tasty!

On our second visit, we decided to get different flavors, but in a waffle cone. Why? Because they had $10 minimum with credit card, and we had no cash… We got Mint Chip and Cookies ‘n Cream in waffle cone. My goodness they were huge and great!

The staffs here were efficient and friendly, and the price was great for the amount you receive here. With its convenient location and great amount of flavor offerings, it sure was a perfect spot to go get some...

Yesterday I experienced such an unprofessional and unenjoyable experience. After waiting in line I got my ice cream and the lady behind me was next. I called her letting her know I’m finished and to come place her order. She came by the register and then this younger employee with dark her rudely told her she was not next. This female customer was next because I was in front of her and she was next to follow. The employee assumed she was not next and started a very rude encounter with the customer. The employee refused to serve her and the employee started using profanity. It was beyond unprofessional I could not believe the owners would allow such an arrogant individual run their place. I have been going here for years and beyond shocked by this encounter. If I owned this place I would immediately fire this young girl. She has no respect for the customer nor her elders. Saw some good reviews and decided to give this place a try. Would not recommend. Despite the fact the stench of cleaning supplies was overwhelming, the place didn’t look clean and the ice cream didn’t look fresh or appealing. I was uncomfortable and was actually somewhat relieved when I saw they didn’t have dairy free options to accommodate me (besides one lemon ice flavor). I left and would highly recommend walking the extra 75 yards to Dolce Mare, where the staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly. The place was exceptionally clean and the gelato looked SO beautiful in the case it killed me not to order some!
