I met Summer the owner. (New owner) a while ago. For some reason she didnt recall who I was Met her from a very good friend of mine who was Vinnie manninos former owner, who has also been my daughter’s boss for two years who employed her for the first time in the restaurant industry. The two were arguing in the back , super rude energy as walked in , and she got upset and yelled at husband that she wanted to leave and get out of here and go home. Little do they know who I am and the relationship I have with the owner as their family therapist. She didn’t even recognize me as her former Uber driver who delivered plenty of alcohol to her house at 2:00 in the morning. Little do they know I have invited the city commissioners and mayors to go eat at their restaurant from the chamber of commerce ever since they took ownership because I was a college student next door at the university. As I say hello and am friendly , her bad mood was just extra ordinary and very negative as she was trying to rush out of the door. As she throws the money on the table for me to receive my change , She is super rude to me and not caring about being professional at all in front of 4 other customers . She says usually people stand at counter ( I was leaving her a gratuity) Super rude. Nasty and bad energy! I will make sure everyone knows about her ! And the chef is just putting up with her attitude. Two horrible business owners. Will never be back again . She should not be a business owner with her type of behavior. Not only is my food greasy and beat up. She didn’t give me a dry bag. Oil everywhere Manninos in Tamarac is 100000 times better

Then she proceeds to follow me outside of the restaurant to yell at me in my face to find me next-door as I’m standing with a patient outside of the facility. She starts to yell at me, begging me to take down the review and that she will destroy me. This is Google. a place for opinions. And...

Located along State Rd. 7 (441), Mannino's Pizza is a small restaurant offering a variety of dishes for dine in, take out, and delivery. They also cater. There was a group of people dining inside when I entered. I asked a male employee for a take out menu to place my order. The shrimp parmigiana with pasta sounded real good. The dinner entree was served with my choice of soup or salad and garlic rolls.

The soup wasn't listed on the menu so I asked what kind of soup do they have. "Pasta fazool", he said quickly. Pasta what? "Pasta fazool", he repeated. He had that real New York/Italian accent. Seems like that was the only soup they had...hope I like it. It was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind sitting in such a relaxed atmosphere. As I reached home, I went into the kitchen to taste test the food. Here are my thoughts:

Garlic rolls - a little oily; but was warm, soft, and lightly covered in minced garlic and herbs...yummy

Realizing "pasta fazool" was Pasta Fagioli - very hearty soup full of pasta, beans, and tomato

Shrimp Parmigiana with pasta - a dish I thoroughly enjoyed. Pasta was al dente and covered in a delicious zesty tomato sauce. Shrimp was breaded, cooked nicely, and topped with same zesty tomato sauce and covered with cheese.

The whole meal tasted like it was cooked to order, which now I didn't mind waiting for 30 minutes...was...

Decided to try this place for the frist time and it was definitely the last. I placed my order and was told about an hour which was no problem. Waited an hour and 45 mins no food so I decided to call the guy said they had a driver quit and there was nothing he could do about it, no I'm sorry, no call to tell me this nothing. I said ok and told him I usually dont order from them but I wouldn't be ordering again I also informed him my card hadn't been charged yet & hpis response was it just was. Waited another 30 mins making my wait time 2 hours & I live less than 5 mins from the place. I called again Sam guy answered I asked to speak to a manager and was told I'm here all day everyday whats the problem. I explained that I had waited 2 hours for my delivery and I wanted to cancel my order, I was hung up on. Called back same guy answered, I told him it was very rude of him to hang up on me, his response was I was rude to him. I admit I was but I waited 2 hours for a chicken parm dinner and live 3 mins away. I requested a refund and was hung up on again. The driver showed up 5 mins later. I will NEVER order...

My brother as a regular recommend this restaurant but warned us customer service may be iffy, but after having lunch I was very pleased with the food, atmosphere and customer service! Unfortunately I didn’t get our waiters name but he was a young gentleman who was very efficient and friendly. Food came out before we even finished our soup and breadsticks which I liked. Portions were generous. When we walked in we sat for maybe 2 minutes and the owner (I’m assuming) offered to take our drink orders which I admire. You can tell who’s a genuine owner when they’re on the floor greeting customers and helping.
