The food was decent but I had a bad experience picking it up. I placed an order through the website and I saw an error that it didn’t go through. However my card was charged. I called and could barely hear as there was loud music. The man on the other end was very hard to communicate with, I’m not sure he understood what I said and I definitely did not understand what he was saying. He didn’t really seem concerned. Then he said he would check, and promptly hung up on me. So I drive to the restaurant. I talk to the man at the table which is the same man on the phone. I show him the charge on my credit card account trying to explain that I placed an order and it didn’t go through but my card was charged. All he kept saying was “no” multiple times. Then he asked my name, he checked his tablet and then showed me. I saw my name but it had a “missed” next to it, and he just said I didn’t pay on the website. Did not apologize for the inconvenience, did not offer a solution. I had to ask to place an order and by now I was getting impatient and the man noticed. He took my order finally and they charged me there so I had to pay again. Also, the website offers a drink that comes with a meal but they did not give me the drink even though I made the same order physically. To top it off I did not get the discount that the website offered so I had to pay more the second time. I will never go back. The food is pretty pricy as well and honestly not worth it, it was decent but...
Read moreInitially, I was unsure what to expect, but this place defies the typical Peruvian label. It reminds me more of a local hangout you'd find along the coast in Mazatlan, Mexico. They offer Corona beer by the bucket and feature live Norteño bands on select nights, complete with a cowboy in black leather. The menu boasts traditional Peruvian seafood dishes such as Chupe de Camaron—a rich, heavily seasoned seafood chowder—and steamed whole fish. They also offer a variety of fried seafood platters, raw bar selections, and ceviche options, including Chifa Saltado dishes. The seafood, prominently displayed, is exceptionally fresh. The house hot sauce is notably fiery, adding to the authentic experience. Despite billing itself as Peruvian, the chef is Ecuadorian, trained in Peruvian cuisine, attracting a diverse Latin American clientele, including Venezuelans and Mexicans. Live Mexican music enhances the weekend atmosphere, making this spot a vibrant addition...
Read moreEither the restaurant's online menu or at site menu needs to be updated OR the waitresses need to better advise consumers of their side options. For same item, online menu states meals come with two sides and a drink but the physical menu does not show this. Naturally, our meals where served with no sides and no drinks... we had $4 beer cans instead. The waitress recommended a plate not listed on any of their menus anywhere... the food was good but only to find out later it was $$$. I like to read what I get before purchasing and I didn't get that here. The place is a hole in the wall, small, it attracts locals, chef is very lively and talkative, food we got was good but they are asking top dollar for it. I've had a similar bill at Aruba's for seafood and that's at the beach! Unfortunately, we won't...
