I wasn’t expecting a gourmet masterpiece, but I did expect something recognizable as pizza. What I got was a floppy, lukewarm disk that apparently defeated the kitchen’s pizza cutter—because it arrived completely uncut. I had to perform my own surgery just to get a slice.

The crust had all the charm of damp plywood, and lifting it with one hand was like trying to pick up a wet towel.
