Whoever ownās this restaurant needs to fire the entire staff! Let me constructively explain; Yesterday I walked in at the end of a possible rush, yet still noticeably less crowded than normal to originally order a donut and two hash browns. When I looked at the donut options that were available, as I was weighing my options, I saw a fly land on several of the donuts. Now, in this particular store they DO NOT keep their bakery items encased/ enclosed. But when I discreetly told the cash handler about the fly/ flies she merely turned around and used her hand (no glove no tissue paper no napkin) to dust onto the donuts moving away the fly. So I ended up just ordering a coffee and two hash browns. But wait⦠thereās more! Then when I stepped down to the hand off part of the counter while waiting on my order, a young woman with her kids were also waiting. At which she had ordered a sandwich and some other items that went along with her order. However, upon receiving her and going through the food she noticed something missing on her sandwich(es) and had gotten the attention of another staff member who then relayed the message to the young lady who was working in the cooked foods and prep counter. The young lady at THAT counter took the sandwich that had been touched and examined by now THREE people (two of which no gloves including the customer) and placed the sandwich back in the toaster. Under codes R9-8-103 and Statutes 36-974, these are definite violations. Now as to how severe of a violation would determine what happened to the individuals once ingested I suppose. Now, I do not leave many reviews because Iām not āOne of thoseā. But this is NOT the first time Iāve come to this location and had been disgusted or dissatisfied with the quality or service experience. I keep giving them a chance because when I patronize other stores (Dunkin Donuts) off the island itās usually pleasurable. So in effort to hoping that they āget it togetherā, THIS is my first step. (To be honest, alerting the staff was my first step and should be everyoneās first step) After this, IF I decide to go back (out of convenience) and I see something else, Iām calling corporate as my next step. After that, well, take a wild guess. Constructive solution; Fire the entire staff Make them reapply Retrain all of them on ADOSH ordinances and statutes (properly) Encase the baked goods area Make everyone wear hair nets AT ALL TIMES! I hope that this review comes across as a clear warning of concern, yet not to be taken lightly. The good folks here in Maricopa deserve sound, safe food handling and service. Not just any type of service because...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I have spent about $50 over the last few weeks here with various orders. About half the time it is wrong by either missing something like coffee in a frozen coffee or by adding extra pumps and lite ice and not getting either. I use the mobile order app so it should be spelled out. Would be a two star if there was no mobile order or farther away from home. Keep trying to get better. Will revisit in a month to see if it has.
Update 10/2018: Have spent more time here and things are getting better. About a 30% error rate. Better than 50% from before. Muffins are great here. I have had all the flavors and Blueberry is still my favorite. Maple pecan is a close second. Keep working on slowing down on coffee order and make them right 100% and then you have something.
Update 8/2019: Things have gotten better since last year. Error rate is down to about 20% now. Usually it is just not enough cream or liquid sugar. Nothing big like the picture. Keeping it a three star as price and service are great, just making the drink appears to still be an issue. If this can get to a 90% success rate, stars can go up one. Still the best on price I have found.
Update 12/2022: Staff has changed out quite a lot since I started going here. Most are really friendly. I don't think I have had a bad experience recently. I upped my review to 4 star as they seem to have ironed out most of the errors. I highly recommend using the app and ordering ahead as you can approach and the line can be real long, so you just park and go inside to pickup your stuff. Saves a bunch of time in the morning if you are in a rush. Coffee is good and cheaper than the other chain places in town. Perfect spot to dump out on to the 347 without issue in the morning....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience ever. We wanted to try their breakfast sandwiches out. Waited in the drive through line and ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 hashbrowns. Got up to the window and they charges us for what we ordered but they only gave us 1 of each. We informed them of this and they told us to go to the front and wait, without giving us the one sandwich and hashbrown that was already made. We waited for about 5 minutes and decided to go inside and see what was taking so long. As we were walking in the worker came out and gave us the rest of our food. We got back into the car and checked our bags. We now had two sandwiches but only one hashbrown. We went back in again and the worker claimed she put two hashbrowns in one bag. This was not the case, there were maybe 5 pieces of hashbrown in the bag. Clearly they were not going to resolve the issue so we left, with one hashbrown and one cold sandwich. We werent even given a receipt to verify our purchase that we had made. Neither one of us will ever be going to a dunkin...
