Neader's Diner — Restaurant in Marietta

Let's start with parking, there's not nearly enough. Next we have the prices, the prices seem low right up till you get your order then you realize you've been the victim of an awful joke. I had chilli cheese fries which until today I didn't know you could mess up. Well these guys did it. The chilli looked like dog food and had zero flavor. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich. This thing looked like it was on a kids bun and had been sat on. The pork was about as flavorful as a piece of driftwood. Ambient temperature today is 83+ and our food was less than that by a good bit, in fact I would be surprised if it was room temperature. Our large milkshakes were in what most places consider a small or regular size. Lastly we have the actual service. The lady taking orders was about as personable as a cadaver with the same ability to hear you, the place was busy but not what I would consider"slammed" the people in the back had orders All messed up and out of order and when customers would point this out they got snippy. Went there for the FIRST time for my sister's birthday. I understand you have to work with what you have, being a small shake shack but, this place is a wolf in sheep''s clothing money shark. They crammed two fish sandwiches, hotdog, burger and two orders of fries in ONE brown paper bag. ALL the sandwiches looked like protein pancakes.... I wasn't too upset yet because I thought they had reasonable prices, huhh!! I ordered the shrimp basket, which they couldn't cram in the bag. As I opened the Styrofoam container I knew I'd been had. This was popcorn shrimp w/ zig-zag fries straight from the Wal-Mart''s frozen section!!! In dismay I looked @ the rest of the table and found the same thing... It's a shame we had to wait a half hour for pre-cooked goods when they weren't even busy @ that!!! Steady, NOT BUSY!!!! I would drive to Newport and eat @ "The Jug" before I...

We stopped at Neader's because I was trying to find something for everyone in the car while driving into Ohio and I'm glad we did.

The staff was very welcoming and pointed us in the direction of the main counter. We placed our order within the first 5 minutes we were there. My daughter liked the green bean fries and my wife enjoyed her pizza burger. I got a double burger with cheese, added bacon, and I got the tater tots.

The tater tots were perfection. I would definitely order them again next time. My burger was really good as well. I could have used a little bit more of salt in the blend but I was still happy with it.

I also got a black raspberry milkshake. Heavenly.

I love me a good diner and Neader's is definitely better...
