My daughter and I ate here late Sunday evening the first week of November '21. I believe there was only a single table occupied but yet when we were finally acknowledged, they said they would be there in a minute? The staff was busy doing a bit of a deeper clean so I was willing to somewhat overlook the bad first impression. Eventually, someone who turned out to be our server did seat us and our service was very very good from then on. I ordered crab Alfredo which was my go to for many years and it didn't disappoint. It was just as flavorful and fresh as I remember with a fair amount of nice chunks of crab as well. I also ordered a cup of clam chowder and it was the best I have ever had. I'm ordering a bowl next time! My daughter ordered shrimp skewers and it was divine! They had been browned on the grill and then a heavenly brown sauce was drizzled on top. It was so delicious and shrimp is it my favorite but I would order and love this dish! Again, the service was terrific and if it wasn't for the hiccup at the start with having to wait for no reason, this would be five stars. Read moreSo our ( party of 2) experience was definitely different due to covid-19 influence. We called ahead for seating. Told 30-35 minutes and time was not guaranteed to have a seat ready when we arrive. She was right. We arrived around 5 minutes before the 30 min mark. Checked in with no further instructions. We chose to wait inside. As we waited, we observed several (5-8) parties arrive. 1 gentleman checked in wondering about his table,as he never received a text. (The had his number incorrect). About 10 minutes after we arrived, we watched the hostess seat at least one couple ahead of us. We know they arrived after us ( we watched them check in), with a very minimal wait. I immediately brought this to the attention of the hostess. She seated us as quickly as possible. Our total wait time at arrival was 15 minutes. The waitor was newer..very busy for a few tables. Which, this restaurant still has half the tables closed. He was a very nice young man, who under pre covid influence, certainly would have spent more time taking care of us. We chose an impromptu dinner date. On a Saturday at 730 in the evening. The experience wasn't horrible. We just noticed a lot of stress in...

The only difference between me and EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THERE IS THAT I AM BLACK it’s so wild to see that type of ignorance still going on in 2024 like ma’am no one told me it was a whites only establishment!!! Needless to say we paid for our food and left too bc at that point I didn’t feel right being there, our waiter was made aware and even told the manager what happened but nothing was said to us before we left!! I get ppl can be racist however to be that grown and act like that was so INSANELY WILD TO ME!!! I will never stop back there...
