I ordered from here on Uber Eats an hour before closing time. I got a driver who waited there for awhile and then cancelled the order. My next driver was waiting there for well over 15 minutes before I messaged to ask what was going on. He told me that there was a long wait. A couple of minutes later (at 11) they tell him they store is closed, which is the closing time. But i have a couple of issues. First, why did the store accept my order? And why were two different drivers waiting for cookies that never seem to have been made? Iâm very confused by the entire situation but from reading other reviews it seems this place needs to get itself together. This is coming from someone who works in the service industry and hates leaving these kind of comments. But this location is a mess, donât bother ordering from here.
edit - I wrote this last night while I was pretty tired and forgot to include the main reason that I wrote this review. The workers had my Uber Eats driver waiting outside in the cold/rain, just to ultimately wait until 11 o'clock to tell him that they're closed. I asked the staff an they had an attitude when I asked for a NEW box that had Chocolate smeared all over it... Change your Gloves or put the choc in the middle...When the wrker walked away brought out new new cookies they still were not warm.. Instead of maybe saying Oh really let me check, maybe yhe warmer isnt high enough or is it wrking? NO, I was told "well they were in the warmer: Do u just want your money back?! Ummm, No I just want warm delicious cookies that I buy Weekly! They were actually cold... SMORES, BROWNIE AND CARROT CAKE" Just the lack of Care and Consideration is what bothers me.. Last time I went, I rode my bike all the way to the shopping center for cookies, which is a sixteen mile ride. I was going to order a single cookie because I had ten dollars and that was what I came for. The screen said that they were out of singles but still somehow had four and six cookies. I went up to the employee and politely asked about this. She was very nice and started to take my order which was a single cookie. This was until a man from the back came up to me and rudely told me that they could not sell me a single cookie because they did not have the box. I then asked if I could get it in a different box or even just napkin in which he replied no. This is unfortunate because I would assume that your store would want to do business with people even if that means compromising by using slightly different packaging.
