Five Guys — Restaurant in Marple Township

Five guys is usually my favorite guy to burger spot...but NOT after today it won't be. This location is disgusting and disgraceful. Today me, my sister and my two toddler nieces intended on grabbing lunch at this location. We were attempting to go into five guys to use the bathroom first before we ate. So we left our previous store at 11:00am on the dot and went to five guys because we knew five guys didn't open up until 11:00am so once we got there it was 11:07am and we noticed the door was still locked up but employees were inside so we knocked on the door and these two boy employees just looked at us and turns the other way and then we knocked again and then another of the younger guys flagged us away and then finally one comes over after we've waiting in the rain and so we ask a question like "excuse me..I want ask you a question..why when I was knocking on the door didn't you answer?" and he says, "oh I couldn't because I had to wait for my manager" with the most rudest tone and me and my sister was like but it's 11:07 and you saw us out there you could have motioned and said one minute or told us to wait so as he was walking away he said,"don't get smart, I don't know who you think you talking to." and we was like "why you being rude" so he comes up in our face and says "get somebody for me and I'll get somebody to beat yal up" but he all in our face cursing and stuff and threatening us and let's not forget the children are with us and they are so afraid and crying. so the manager come from the back like what's going on and we tell her the story and he still talking about us slamming stuff down so we asked to speak to the general manager and the cooperate because we both were just taken back from that like why would an employee be talking to us like we on the street. I've never had such an awful experience like this for a young man to be belligerent to women in their faces. I'd advise anyone to NOT eat from here. I'm convinced that these employees hate our race and we will be settling this as a hate crime and...

When I was first introduced to this popular burger chain, it was relayed as "Five Guys Burgers and Fries". Burgers and fries are their specialty and both are equal contenders. They stock up on tons of potatoes and proudly advertise the farm/location on which they are creating the fries for that day. The best thing about ordering fries is that they scoop them into the standard fry container, place the container in a brown paper bag, and then throw another scoop into the bag. Therefore, you definitely get your money's worth. If you take the fries to-go, your bag will be see-through by the time you get back home or to work.

But what about the burgers? Of course they are excellent. If you are paying for a premium burger, you better get the best - and at Five Guys, you do. All of the toppings are FREE, so you can load up and make it worth it.

I just noticed today that they also have an extensive selection of specialty milkshakes. I did not realize this as I always went there for...burgers and fries. To knock it out of the park, all of the add-ins to your milkshake are also free.

If you need a break from fast food burgers and don't mind paying more for a "real" burger, Five Guys is the place to go! The only disappointment you may encounter is that you won't be able to finish all...

I love five guys but this is one of their worst locations. The first time I came here, I was served barely warm fries that were super greasy like they'd been reheated and a bun with cracks that was dry and stale. Plus my burger was barely even warm. The food overall seemed like it wasn't fresh. Then another time I tried to order, they claimed to be out of beef. I got a vibe that they're were lying and just trying to close the store down early. So I stopped coming to this location for a while but due to covid they were one of the few locations that were open past 8pm.... or that was supposed to be open. This day I called 40 min in advance to order and was told to order when I got there. I get there 20 minutes before their closing time but they tell me that they're ALREADY closed. After that I won't ever be visiting this location...
