Hooters — Restaurant in Maryland Heights

I have been here a few times and there is a massive difference between the experiences whether you go before 5:00pm or after 5:00pm. If you go before 5 expect to see groups hanging out on their cell phones while you stand around, expect to be sat at a dirty table or if clean one that's essentially on the other side of the restaurant. I came in today around 2:00pm got sat at a table with crumbs on the table and seat and straw wrappers on the floor adjacent the table. After a few minutes of being seated our waitress arrived and immediately asked what we wanted to eat, I explained we hadn't read the menu and proceeded with our drink orders. She brought back the non-alcoholic drinks first and again asked if we knew what we wanted, I apologized to her again and responded no we were still figuring it out. When the beer arrived I was immediately again asked what we wanted, to make it stop I threw in an appetizer order. Not even 2 minutes later I was asked what we wanted, to which I explained again that we weren't in a rush and that I just wanted to hang out before ordering. The food came and it was ok, the place wasn't all that busy but either it was sitting for a bit or rushed together. I asked what the mini dessert options were and I was told and I quote "some strawberry thing and a Reese's pieces thing".....This is my atypical pre 5pm arrival experience which honestly shouldn't make a difference. Now if you come after 5:00pm, expect non-harrassing service, expect your food to be right and taste good, expect your drinks to be cold and not flat, expect friendly workers and expect to leave feeling like you got what you paid for. I know that the restaurant industry is in shambles right now which honestly makes experiences today make no sense. Allot of us have been impacted by Covid either financially, mentally or both. When we treat ourselves to eating out, every experience should be 100%, we should expect the restaurant to be spotless, servers friendly. knowledgeable and to actually want to be there, the food should be spot on and the drinks not left out getting warm and flat. I know the challenges faced with finding good help but at this point you are jeopardizing your business because I can go to Buffalo Wild Wings, Show me's or Twin Peaks. I hope you address these things because Hooters really is...

Taylor and Diamond the manager were very rude. First, Taylor served the lady that came in behind me (Nicole) but I didn’t mind. Nicole ended up speaking up saying “we not together she was here first” Taylor proceeded to walk away. Nicole repeatedly said excuse me multiple times at least 4, then Taylor got mad and said “well I’m deaf”. Hearing has nothing to do with seeing who was standing at the register first. I proceeded to make light of the situation I asked Taylor “why you gotta be so mean”. She then responded yelling saying that I yelled at her in which I did not. (How did you hear that?) Nicole said excuse me many times. Taylor then proceeded to throw a pin at me and told me to sign my receipt and I politely declined and walked out (food paid for via Apple Pay). She said “idgaf don’t sign it”, snatched the receipt and stormed off.. then I go to my car and call to speak with a manager three times in which all three times the call was ended. I came back to this establishment to personally speak with a manager. Then diamond came out. I explained the situation to her and she blamed it on the fact that Taylor was deaf. The situation had nothing to do with Taylor not hearing it’s the fact that she threw a pin at me and cursed at me after she looked dead at me and proceed to not service me. Taylor was not held accountable for her actions and I was not felt valued as a customer so I returned my food. Customer service was terrible the manager lacked to listen to my side of the story. I truly hope this turn into an investigation and someone is reprimanded. Hearing has nothing to do with throwing a pin at someone (a customer) aggressively and cursing at them. I will never come back to this establishment, though I have been coming since I was in high school. I will be calling corporate in the morning due to the very poor customer service. Also if you deaf how you know how to curse at me? And how did you hear when I asked why you being mean? That lady is picking and choosing what she wants to hear and blaming it on her disability which is not fair. Yall ruined my night, you never know what someone is going through. It cost zero dollars to be a nice person. I hope it...

The only thing I had a good experience with at this location was the 1 hostess.. other than that I will not be revisiting this location EVER again and will NOT be accepting any orders from here again .. I literally waited almost 2 hours for a postmates order and was not acknowledged by even 1 other staff member . In fact every waitress in the place either acted as if I did not exist and the ones who did only went as far as to shoot dirty looks at me ! 5 tables were sat and received there orders befor my own pickup . They also made and delivered 4 orders for 4 different door dash drivers no longer than 5 min after there arrival for pick up ! I sat at the table in the front for what was almost 2 hours and was subsequently not going to be receiving any tip for my delivery .. i have never befor felt like any place was purposely avoiding making my order but this place either has some kind of resentment against postmates or just purposely told to put all postmates carriers priorities at the last thing to do because they know that postmates will be no longer postmates but will become uber eats .. either way this place is fake and only cares about taking your money.. I recommend picking almost any other hooters in the area. This location is full of gold digging waitresses and lazy staff seeing as it took them 2 hours to even get me my delivery order out .. they cost me my tip and about 3 other deliverys I could have made waiting on a pre placed order that should have been started bedor I even arrived.. fake rude waitresses who would litterally go from sweet and friendly paying customers at there section to as soon as they walked past me or giving me cross dirty looks .. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER HOOTERS TO CHOOSE TO EAT AT BUT THESE WAITRESSES ARE JUST FLAT OIT RUDE...
