**Update 9-8-24 The food was absolutely perfect. Tacos and Chalupa's were filled properly and the quesadilla was great as well. Whoever was preparing the food give them a raise and use them as your future hiring bar. **Update 5-17-24 Since April of this year, food preparation and quality have noticeably fallen off. I don't know if it's a management change or staffing difficulties. Please bring this locations standards back to where they were. This Maryland Heights location is vastly superior to the Bridgeton location on the Rock Road. While the Bridgeton location has continually dropped in both quality of food and service, the Maryland Heights location has maintained a level of both, that is increasingly hard to find. The food was prepared as it should be, and the service was on par with what paying customers should expect. Far to often anymore, we are having to deal with untrained staff with bad attitudes, and food quality, and with today's increased costs, make it hard to roll the dice and hope for a decent meal, with friendly service, to justify spending your hard earned money on. I'm happy to say that this Maryland Heights location is doing it better than most. We will be patronizing this location...
Read moreI walked into this establishment and stood in front of the cash register area as a woman from the drive through was getting items from her order because they were missing. After someone from the back finally brought her things out, another woman walks in, dressed in Taco Bell work shirt and takes her things to the back while saying that she's not working. I had been standing there about 8 minutes by this time. The woman that walked in came out and walked behind me toward the fountain drinks. As she walked by, I asked her if there was someone there who could take orders. She said "no,they only have 3 people working back there." I didn't know what that meant that they only had 3 people. I don't work at a fast food restaurant. I said that I don't know what that means. She said it means that they don't have anyone to take orders. HORRIBLE!! I will not waste my time coming back here. The drive through line is long and moving really slow so I won't go through it, either. I'll go find food...
Read moreExtremely rude employee taking my order. I gave my order, she tells me, ma'am I can't here you. So I speak a little loader as sometimes taco bell's intercom isn't very good. This is me being helpful. Girl makes a remark to her coworker, "now I'm gonna have to have her repeat her order cause she yelling." I tried to explain that I spoke louder because she couldn't hear me but I was rudely interrupted, her yelling ma'am ma'am ma'am I'm trying to help you. So I stop speaking and she wants to know if I still wanted the $5 classic box order? (So she heard me in the first place). I told her no that I didn't need their help anymore, that I would move out of their drivethru as soon as the truck in front of me moved out of my way. She then replies, "I can't hear you" as she's laughing around her other coworkers. I am a very polite person so I remain silent until I'm able to remove myself from their drive thru. I can't believe this taco bell is still open with such complete disrespectful...
