The Music Staff at St. John's United Church of Christ in Weldon Spring, MO, want to take this opportunity to give a "SHOUT OUT" for the fine service we received when we purchased a Mackintash protective cover for our Henry Miller Grand Piano. (We are blessed to have received this piano from a church that unfortunately found it necessary to "close their doors." ) Pat S., at Steinway Piano Gallery, patiently guided us through every step of the process of knowing what information was needed so we were able to finalize our purchase . The cover arrived in a timely fashion! However, it was for a larger size piano. We sent photos to Pat and she agreed it was a miss-fit. We verified that our order did contain the correct information. Pat placed the re-order. She notified us when the new cover pad arrived and we made the exchange. A gracious offer, that we truly appreciate, is that Pat and Steinway management allowed us the courtesy of making only 2 trips to their store: one to place the order and one to return the incorrect cover at the same time that we picked-up the replacement - which by the way is A PERFECT FIT! What a pleasant experience this was! We are a grateful staff and church family. Sincerely, Ann Gaadt and...
Read moreI came in to look at graded hammer weighted Roland digital pianos for my 5 year old daughter, who started piano lessons recently. Lisa was extraordinarily helpful, explaining and demonstrating a variety of excellent options. I had visited a Yamaha store earlier on the same day, which left me with a great appreciation of the sincere assistance that Lisa was providing from both the musical standpoint and in consideration of our situation. I was also impressed with both the sound and functionality of the Roland keyboards. Ultimately, however, due to the fact that my very young daughter has just recently started playing the piano, we decided to purchase a far less expensive digital piano found online that is still graded hammer weighted but not quite in the same tier of functionality and beauty as those I viewed in the store. Assuming that my daughter continues to love playing the piano for the next few years, we will be happy to revisit the Steinway (and Roland) Piano Gallery again for a lovely upgrade -- asking for...
Read moreI needed to buy a piano for my wife and kids to learn how to play. After spending weeks going through FB marketplace with mixed results on quality and high piano moving service costs, I decided to try the neighborhood piano shop that posted a used studio grade piano. Matt Hoppwood was the FB contact, and he answered all my questions online before I was ready to see him at the shop. He was very helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for, an institutional model with functional music rests, built for longevity, low maintenance, quality sound for proper learning, and the comfort of a warranty. Now with two months of lessons, the family is enjoying how well it plays and sounds as they learn...
