Subject: Urgent Complaint: Unethical Towing Practices by Big Ben's Tow Company at Arby’s Location
Dear Arby’s Management,
I am writing to express my profound disgust and frustration regarding the conduct of Big Ben’s Tow Company, which you have engaged to patrol the Arby’s parking lot. Their tactics, including the unethical towing of vehicles belonging to patrons of Crafty Crab and other neighboring establishments when Arby’s is closed, are outrageous and frankly intolerable. This exploitative practice feels like nothing more than a predatory cash grab, at the expense of those who support local businesses in the area.
Please be aware that Crafty Crab has very limited parking available, which often leaves patrons with no choice but to use nearby spaces in the Arby’s lot after hours. Furthermore, the signage posted to restrict parking is poorly displayed, making it difficult for patrons to clearly see the restrictions. The signs are not parallel, nor are they consistently placed on both sides of the parking lot to ensure easy visibility. These poorly placed signs only compound the issue, setting patrons up for unnecessary towing fees when parking is simply unavailable nearby.
Most alarming of all is an incident involving a driver from Big Ben’s Tow Company, identified as Mr. Stone, who brandished a firearm during a recent encounter, claiming he "felt intimidated"—despite there being no reason to justify such aggression. This behavior goes beyond the bounds of professional conduct and common decency. Such aggressive, unwarranted actions leave patrons and community members feeling unsafe and deeply troubled.
The decision to employ a tow company that profits from towing patrons' vehicles, especially when your establishment is closed, demonstrates a blatant disregard for community relations. I urge you to reconsider this partnership with Big Ben’s Tow Company and to take immediate action to address their abhorrent conduct before this escalates further.
Thank you for your attention to this critical matter. I hope to see a swift response and a clear demonstration of Arby’s commitment to the safety and well-being of your patrons and the local...
Read moreUpdate: I gave this place another chance, just for me. What a mistake! I dunno what has happened but the quality has really gone down in in the roast beef. I stopped by the drive through a few nights ago for the first time in a long time and I wish I hadn't. Maybe it's my location but the meat was beyond terrible. Salty, mushy, tasted very off and much different than I've ever had from any Arby's. Mind you I used to work at one in my younger days and loved it! My husband who is not a picky eater took one bit of my sandwich and spit it out and said it tasted like dog food. I used to love Arby's and the beef was fresh and looked and tasted like real meat. I was beyond disappointed....Again! 😞 This location really needs to be looked into!
Our first and last time at this location! The service and the food was terrible. The person taking orders at the drive through had zero customer service skills and came across unpleasant. Items were forgotten in the order and the drive thru was extremely backed up and the lobby closed so no efficient way to communicate items that were missing. The food was cold, dry and tasteless. Fries were greasy and cold. Beef and cheddar had hardly any red sauce or cheese, beef was dry and it was served on a regular plain bun....hardly a traditional beef and cheddar. Hopefully someone recieved a better meal in that long line than I did. There are too many food establishments around to settle for subpare service and quality. We...
Read moreFirstly, I know it is New Years Day, so I am not expecting cheerful servers, but I did expect to be able to eat the food I paid for. We ordered from the drive-thru and no line. We were pleasantly surprised. I decided to try the brisket smokehouse without the bun (I eat gluten-free). I have done it on their French dips regularly and haven't had any problems. , was I disappointed. They put it in the microwave. Why??? It made it greasy. The cheese is greasy, and the onion rings are soggy and greasy. It had 2 small pieces of brisket in the box. That for almost $10.00 alone. We only live a few miles from town, so by the time we arrived home, hubby had still warm food, and I had a greasy, nuked mess. I did not eat it. I gave the meat to my dog. I am glad I had leftovers in the fridge. Service got hit because of the wrong size of drink, and the server was not at all pleasant after pointing it out to him. Husband loves his Arby's, I will get my food some place else from now...
