Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Maryland

I ordered chocolate chip cookie dough & mom's making cookies. When we left the store, we were happy to try this delicious combo. HOWEVER the staff mixed up the mom's making cookies ice cream with bananas foster. It's important to note that bananas foster contains NUTS. We went back to the store to get a replacement and was met with criticism and animosity from the manager. He accused us of not purchasing the ice cream in the same day (even though a total of 4 minutes passed between buying and returning AND we showed him the receipt). He then told us that we were lying about the very visible nuts in the ice cream. It took another worker digging through the ice cream to find several nuts before the manager believed us. He got another worker to remake the order BUT they made the same mistake again!! The bananas foster and mom's cookies ice cream tubs were switched and instead of believing the customers who were actually tasting the ice cream, they treated us like we were trying to steal something. It's ice cream and doesn't call for that, but luckily none of us had a nut allergy; that would have been anaphylactic shock...

Service was great. They had an ample amount of vanilla. I didn’t get vanilla though. No line, but it took them approximately 20.5 seconds to notice I was in the store. After receiving my ice cream, I noticed that there was ONE pecan in my chocolate chip ice cream. I’m allergic to pecans. Not really, but I just really don’t like them, so I might as well be allergic. We had been bicycling on the nearby Anacostia River trail network and decided we deserved ice cream. Stopped in to find the strangest Baskin-Robbins I've ever seen. No prices or decorations on the wall, switches/thermostat dangling from wires coming from holes in the wall. Overall a mess and safety code violations everywhere.

Cashier seemed irritated that we asked for pricing before ordering. Tried to double-charge for sprinkles. 2 scoops each for two people was $12. We'll...
