Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I will never, everrrrrrrrrrrr come back to this place to dine in again. The games are okay, but the restaurant section and the staff of this particular location are horrid. It’s the closest Dave and Busters to where I live, yet I will happily take a 40-50 min. drive to the VA location before I ever come back here again.
Our dining experience was the worst. We were set at a table in the corner that was seemingly assigned to nobody. The table had 2 chairs so the hostess had to go find an extra one because there was 3 in our party. This table: a.)was not cleaned b.) had several plates and menus on it as if it was just the extra table in the corner that held extra supplies and c.) had no silverware at any point during our meal.(The ten plates and menus on the table were not removed by the way, I had to get up and sit them somewhere else to make room for us to eat.) After 20 mins. of sitting at this reject table with no eye contact from any server at all, I went to the hostess station to speak to one of them about it and I was completely ignored, it was as if I were invisible! After 5 mins. of patiently waiting to be acknowledged I requested a manager. He came out and was nice, but nothing changed besides the fact that he found us a waiter. He also asked the busboy to clean our table (he cleaned the wrong table by the way and never actually cleaned ours). We started to just leave before ordering anything but we still had game points and my 4 year old would have been disappointed to leave early and we were hungry.
The food was nothing to talk about, but I already knew not to expect anything much just based on how things were already flowing. The waiter served my 4 y/o bitter, sour lemonade even though we requested fruit punch (my poor baby had to drink this the entire time) and believe it or not, my boyfriend had a white bread-bag clip in his steak and cheese slider, he had to get up and request a manager because our waiter disappeared after he served us the food. This time another manager came, he pretended to care about the item being in my boyfriends food but when he brought him back a “new plate of food”, it was cold. He probably just removed the clip from the slider and brought him back the same food, I would not be surprised.
I lost my appetite and couldn’t finish my food I was just ready to pay and use the rest of my game points and leave but we could not find our waiter even after requesting him from the second manager. When he finally came back we paid the bill immediately, and left NO TIP for the first time ever.
To summarize: most of the staff are either incompetent or just ghetto and lazy... maybe a mixture of all three. DO...
Read moreThis was a very nice location, super big but the customer service was horrible!!! I mean horrible. My friends and I went midday Friday and we approached the dining area there were about 4 empty booths they were just dirty. We asked could one be cleaned off they said sure took about 20 minuets to find someone to do so. When we were finally seated we had no waiter because they were switching shifts and everyone that we asked said I’ll find you someone else cause they didn’t want to help so it took about 25 minuets to actually get a waiter. During our meal we we needed service our waiter was tucked away in a corner with several other waiters chatting. We flagged another waitress and she told us she’s off the clock but she’ll get someone else. She did not she just went in the kitchen so we flagged down another waitress we asked could she find our waiter she said sure, never doing so. Our waiter eventually came walking bye about 15 minuets later we stopped him and asked our questions. At the end of our meal we flagged down a manager who had been walking back and forth and informed him of our service and he had a nonchalant attitude. When we’re describing our horrible service and his reply was “so what exactly happen though “ and we were literally telling him. He did apologize and we informed him that we were just telling him so he can help better the communication with his staff and better their service as providers. We later went to cash out our tickets and we asked the 2 male employees that were standing behind the countert talking, how does it work he put his hand out for our cards and he just quoted a amount. Came back to to him with items he continued his conversation with the other male as he was scanning our items and just handed a receipt but didn’t bad the items. He said they don’t keep bags at the register which didn’t make since. But he did not smile he looked very annoyed with me interrupting his conversation and then rudely continued to talk as I was standing there. So after this experience my friends and I will never go back to...
