DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO WORK AT THIS LOCATION For the past 2 weeks I have been attempting to get my son’s final pay from this location. I have attempted to contact various people to resolve this situation. The store manager Jaykin Chavez, is aware of him not being paid have done nothing to ensure he received his pay. I have contacted him on numerous occasions and never received a response from him until I physically came to the store. The first time I came to the store (1/7/2022), the supervisor Syndi Alvarenga called Jaykin and we had a phone conversation. During that conversation he disclosed that previous supervisor Luis Acampro had done a poor job as a supervisor with employees’ time and was fired because of it. Unfortunately, my child has to suffer because of Chipotle’s failure to hire a suitable supervisor that could maintain the daily operations of the store. It is very clear that Chipotle does a poor job with hiring supervisors and managers. Jaykin and Syndi were made aware of my son’s missing paycheck on 1/2/23 when he return to work. I allowed my son to handle the situation on his own but when I noticed Syndi kept using the excuse, she wasn’t the supervisor when he worked there and she could not help him and Jaykin was deliberately ignoring his text I stepped in. Clearly me stepping in has not changed the results. Jaykin stated to me he was inputting my son’s time card and he should have his check by Friday. My son text Jaykin he did not respond so I went to the store. My son went in and asked for his check and Syndi told him “we don’t have checks until pay day”. I then asked to speak to her and asked her for the contact information for the store owner, store manager, and corporate because I was sending an email. She claimed she did not know the information. How are you a supervisor and don’t know contact information? Not only her not knowing the contact information, the lack of professionalism from her was disgusting. As I was asking her questions she flew her hand at me stating “this has nothing to with me wait for Jaykin he will be her in 20 mins” and walked away. The exchange between us was so bad that customers approached me outside the store stating that was rude of her and her behavior was disgusting and offered their contact information just in case I had to go to court. I then called Jaykin because he stated there was going to be a check there for my son and his supervisor refused to give me email addresses I asked for. He couldn’t provide email addresses as well. Currently, they are coming upon another pay next week which means they will be paid a 3rd time while my son still have not been paid. I tried to handle this matter privately and that clearly did not work. So once again DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO WORK AT THIS LOCATION. They are in violation of child labor laws. A minor was working for and have not been paid for his labor. According to my son this happened before with a few of his classmates and they quit for the same reason. This is not the first pay my son missed but it was resolved quickly so I did not have to make a...
Read moreI am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my recent visit to the Chipotle location at Goucher Building. My experience at your establishment was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring several issues to your attention.
First and foremost, upon entering the dining area, I was appalled by the level of cleanliness. The tables were filthy, with food remnants scattered about, and it was evident that they hadn't been properly wiped down or sanitized. Additionally, the floors appeared to have not been swept or mopped in quite some time, further contributing to the unsanitary environment. As a customer, I expect a certain standard of cleanliness when dining out, and this experience fell egregiously short of that expectation.
Furthermore, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of attentiveness and professionalism exhibited by your employees. Instead of prioritizing customer service and satisfaction, the staff seemed more preoccupied with engaging in personal conversations amongst themselves. As a result, customers were ignored, and it was challenging to get anyone's attention for assistance or inquiries. This disregard for customer needs is wholly unacceptable and reflects poorly on the reputation of your establishment.
To compound matters, I waited for assistance for ten minutes while your employees searched for lids for bowls. When I brought to their attention that there were lids available at the takeout order section, I was met with a dismissive response. The cashier, Katherine, informed me that they could not take a lid from there, despite there being more than fifty available. When I requested to speak with the manager, Katherine returned laughing, stating that the manager was too busy to address my concerns. This level of unprofessionalism and disorganization is unacceptable.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience, especially considering that I choose to patronize this location due to its proximity to my home. However, it is evident that this location is in desperate need of strong leadership and improved organizational practices.
I urge you to take immediate action to address the issues raised and implement measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur again. This may include retraining staff on customer service standards, implementing stricter cleanliness protocols, and fostering a culture of accountability within your team.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I sincerely hope that you will take the necessary steps to rectify these issues and restore confidence...
Read moreThe line was to the door because they were not organized. They had one person going on and off the line instead of focusing to get the line down. I waited patiently.
I ordered a steak bowl and chicken burrito. The steak had a few pieces in the bin and the guy picked it up to swipe the the steak into my burrito bowl. The water from the steam table dripped into the bowl. I felt bad and didn’t really want to ask them to remake it thinking if it’s steam it might be ok - so I continued to make the bowl. I looked back because he had not filled the spot yet with new steak bin to confirm if the bin was actually touching the water or not. I asked to have the bowl remade because it was touching the old water.
The girl who was on the salsa side chastised me and asked why didn’t you say it while I was making the bowl. I thought it was an adequate question because she wasn’t in my head through the thought process that i was actually trying to prevent them from remaking it at first.
She then calls the manager over and I noticed that her intentions were different. She explained to her frustratingly in Spanish that I wanted another bowl because water dripped in it. I add also in Spanish that the steak was also old.
She then refuses to make my bowl. She ignored my concern because she felt that I should have said something while she was making it. I had to go to the guy at the beginning of the line to manage the situation after waiting for sometime to have my bowl remade while she ignored the problem.
I usually don’t have bad experiences but the manager tonight and the lady on salsa around 830 had horrible attitudes.
It doesn’t matter when I asked for the bowl to be remade. If it’s water in the bowl there was water in the bowl. There was nothing else to do at that point but remake the bowl. I even apologized that I asked later in the process. What else did she...
