So every year the past 3 years around the holidays Iāve placed a small 3-4 bottle liquor order for something that is difficult to find. This year I placed my order, the store is about an hour away from me so i usually plan to get it when Iām down that way for work. This year, 2 weeks passed and i didnāt make it. I called on a Sunday to see if my order was still available, assuming it may not be before I made the drive. First I waited patiently on hold, understandably being the holidays. Then a man got on the phone, I asked about my order, he said the gentleman that handles the wine department (who is always a pleasure to deal with) wasnāt in and then he refused to look up my order, said to call back Monday and rushed off the phone. I called back, got a female, explained to her that the man was not willing to help me and explained to her what I was calling about. After about 3 attempts of explaining my dilemma as she was clearly trying to blow me off as well, she finally went to look. I was more than kind to this women being in the customer service business myself, and she was extremely impatient and impolite. She told me my order had been shelved after a week and a half. The way she spoke to me was extremely demeaning and defensive as if I was upset and was freaking out over it or something. I told her multiple times I understood, thatās why I called before driving down. But she kept speaking in a very defensive way as if I was demanding something impossible and had totally ruined her day. I told her that they both were very rude and unprofessional and couldnāt believe the tone in how I was being spoken to and how they were handling such a simple conversation. She said it was my responsibility to pick it up right away, itās not our fault, and so on. Multiple times I said I had no problem with missing out on the order, the only issue I had was how rude I was being treated. Then I was basically hung up on. I wasnāt dare going to ask if they were still available on the shelf. I wonāt ever do business here again. Like I said, they are an hour drive from me and I still gave them my business. These people seriously need customer service and friendly soft...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me first start off by saying the only reason why I'm giving a star is because it's making me give at least one. My wife and I love pizza, I am HALF American and half European. I grew up in europe most of my life, I could tell you that this place is not worth it for the take out or dine in. My family comes from Sicily, and to say this food is authentic is a punch to us and my family. I have gone here multiple times to see if it gets better, and it seems to be actually doing quite the opposite. So, let's get the authenticity out of the way. My wife and I got 2 pizzas, and they got one of the pizzas wrong. Not only that, depicted below is a picture of how FLIMSY, SLIMY, FLOPPY, SMELLY, GREASY it is, AND the toppings literally fall and slip off of the pizza when you pick a slice up. Also, I paid a lot and I also tipped a lot. The workers are also mexican, not european and also are very rude and don't know manners or know even how to speak English correctly. No wonder there's not many cars there most of the time. The packaged food is good and authentic, and so is the wine. And like I said, parking lot is usually empty so it's easy to find parking! At least the interior is somewhat okay. I'm telling you right now, it would be a mistake to come here for anything other than packaged goods. DO NOT COME HERE. I'd recommend Angelina's Italian pizza kitchen and Sub shoppe, about 10 minutes away from this "Italian market". They are family owned, very friendly, and also have the best pizza within a 10 mile radius of annapolis. This place honestly shouldn't even serve food. My experience is also followed by other people's experiences too.
So, to discredit me on my review, it would be discrediting Italy, Europe, the family and also discredit the other people who told me the same things. There is no defending the poor quality of food, service and workers that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn town for work, actually ended up working in this restaurant for the day. We ordered our own food at the counter (there was no waitress?) and got our own drinks(refills too) at the fountain the whole time we were there, which is whatever, ok. My whole team ordered food, our guest ordered food, we spent a good amount of money in this establishment. They close at 9:30, and around 6:45 the lady that worked the register, ( I was told she owned the place) started askin if we were gettin close to leaving, and we told her our last appt time was 7pm and we would be done by close. At 9:15 I began packing up our office supplies, and the lady behind the register once again came around the corner and started complaining that we were taking too long to leave and that they were closed now. Another couple was still eating! She continually complained for about 5 mins, wasting my time to pack up and giving me grief in the process.. I finally said this to her an she walked away.. then I had servers an other people coming up to me an telling me I needed to leave.. I literally told them all to please just shut up an leave me alone so that I could pack my stuff an leave, the more they yelled at me the more time they were wasting.. The owner then proceeds to go up to my director and start harassing him, all while the other employees are harassing me, and my team as we are still packing up to leave.. She threatened to call the cops on us for not leaving, mind you itās now only 9:40, they close at 9:30, and they wonāt leave us alone to pack our things.. All while harassing us we ended up leaving and pulling out of their parking lot by 9:42. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a place where I spent hundreds of dollars. I would not recommend this place to anyone.. Iām still in awe to have been...
