I stopped to grab a quick bite tonight and was expecting the typical, average Subway restaurant. I was met instead with an airy and pleasant place where it would be rather relaxing to stop and eat. There is plenty of seating with lots of room, so you won't get that claustrophobic feeling of being crammed in elbow to elbow like so many of the much smaller Subway restaurants. The extra investment into a larger place is duly noted and well worth it.
To top it off, the two young ladies working behind the counter were wonderfully engaging and personable! They are local students together and they were excellent at cheering up a tired old man before the final leg of his journey home. During the course of our short chat, if they weren't making a sub or ringing it up then they were busy cleaning and working, all the while focusing on the customer. They truly are a great asset to the franchisee. They made my quick and pleasant visit all the more pleasant and personal!!

Read moreJust a heads up!,.I went to this Subway over the weekend and a couple of their veggie toppings look very suspect,.especially the cucumbers, which looked a bit to slimy,.so I left without ordering,.I wasn't going to even write a review,.but when I told my neighbor about the looks of the veggies, he said that his wife actually got severe food poisoning after ordering a steak & egg on flatbread one morning last month,.she had diarrhea for 4 days and had to go to urgent. She believes it was the steak, because it looked a bit grey, but the flat bread was hard and very stale, but didn't realize until eating it at home.,just giving a warning about this place,.I have a feeling they don't throw anything away,.I will be going to the one in Chester instead,.not sure if it's the same management but their stuff always...
Read moreOkay, it’s Subway. However, the service sucks. I ordered a footlong and was charged the typical $2 extra for avocado. When I got home, there was no avocado. I was hungry, so I snapped photos of the receipt and sandwich. I stopped by the Subway, showed them receipt and time stamped photos of the sandwich. I said just give me the $2 and we’ll call it even. Cashier says nothing they can do on an online order and it’s too complicated. No, it’s not. They took my name and number for the owner to call me. It’s been two days and I never got a call. The owner needs to empower its employees to make things right.
