On Saturday, 31 July, at or around 8:50 PM, my daughter and I went to mezah mediterranean grill (National Harbor) to grab a bowl for dinner. Since we live in the Harbor, we have visited mezah on multiple occasions. The quality of service has varied over the past couple of years, contingent upon who is making the bowl. On this past Saturday, service was the worst that we have ever received. It was so bad that we left our ā€œpreparedā€ bowls at the register and walked out of the grill. We waited our turn to have our bowls made, but instead of checking us out so that we could pay our bill, the line preparer (a short Hispanic man with curly hair) placed our bowls by the register and began preparing the bowls of the family behind us. When we asked if he would ring us up, he nodded his head, but continued to prepare the bowls of the family of four behind us. We asked the tall Black woman if she would assist us, but instead of ringing us up, she began assisting preparing the bowls of the family behind us. My daughter peeked into the back room and asked the woman (Hispanic with the blue hair) who was sitting at a desk, if she would ring us up so that we could leave. Instead of assisting us, she yelled at my daughter that she should not be in that area. It was at that time that we decided to leave the restaurant without our food. We should not have to wait for the line server to prepare meals for customers after us. We should not be treated that way! If you start the sale, finish the sale!! We went to Thai Pavilion for dinner, since we couldn’t get it from mezah. mezah lost revenue, and supplies, due to poor customer service! We won’t go back! By the way, the woman with the blue-hair always has a nasty attitude towards us. Her customer service is awful!! I recommend customers go to Bowie mezah or DC instead of the National...

8/23/2025 at 9:35 pm Unfortunately this location is hard to get to on the weekends because they close off the street that it’s located on and there is little to no parking. My husband went into Mezeh gave the names to both of our orders and the Lady at the cash register with 2 black star stickers on her face refused to give my husband both of our orders. She told him she needed to see his receipt. Normally that is understandable except she did not ask the lady in front of him for a receipt. At the National Harbor location they keep the mobile orders behind the counter and the receipts are not displayed to customers. My husband asked why do I have to show my receipt when the lady in front of me did not. The lady replied to him saying she has seen that lady two times already. My husband told her he has been here before and you never asked for a receipt. I finally went into Mezeh and only showed how much I paid for our order not what we ordered or my name. The gentleman looked at my phone and gave us our order. I asked the female manager on duty why my husband was asked to show a receipt and her excuse was they are having trouble with the system and need to make sure the orders are right. My problem with her statement is that I made sure nobody seen my full receipts so how can you make sure my order is correct if you never looked at my full receipt. I do not appreciate being lied to! I have ordered from this location before around the same time with the young lady with the stickers on her face working there and have never received this type...

Looked inside the store to find that nobody was dining in. I initially thought this to be strange; upon entering, I would discover this was because the ac was broken inside and I had to eat outside where it was 80+°F. This being the first time in the mezeh, I was unsure of the process of ordering and the different options available. I was rudely rushed through the order and the staff was not entertaining any of my questions. Instead I felt that they were making decisions for me. The drinks were also disappointing as their was no way to get ice and drinks that were supposed to be cold were instead hot such as lemonade🄵. I understand that the area, National Bay, is more touristy and because of that customer retention is not as important. I still feel that as a national chain, that a good customer service is essential. I did not receive that here. As for the food; it was pretty good. I enjoyed it. The ingredients complimented each other and the sauces pulled...

I've had Mediterranean food a handful of times, so I didn't know exactly how to build a my own bowl. I wish they had some default bowls to choose from but everything turned out to be tasty. I essentially picked a protein and then told the staff, "I don't know what to get. I'd like a little bit of everything," while politely declining items that I knew that I would not/do not enjoy. It turned out delicious! They give you a lot of food if you build a bowl and all the components were delicious in their own right. I would say the only thing that could have made it better would have been if the food was served warmer or hot. But, I get the feeling that is not how the food is meant to be served so not taking off any stars for this. My partner enjoyed his food as a big ol' burrito 🌯 as you can see in the photo. Lovely interior decor and classy music as well šŸ˜‚ They also have some unique, drink flavors! I really enjoyed the mandarin drink with tumeric in it!

This is my second time in Mezeh. Unfortunately we don’t have any closer to my residence . I have visited different location before and loved the food and service. So today I was in the area and decided to get my Bday lunch there. What a mistake. Food is still fine . Young lady there was just plain rude. I was all happy and just got snappy attitude back. My hubby was served by other employee, (slightly older person) who was super sweet and even gave me a cookie after he mentioned it’s my bday. You can’t enjoy food after bad service . I will be avoiding this location from this point on. If young people don’t want to work in providing service they need to find new job or go study. I told myself I should have just walk away. National harbor is full of places to eat with much nicer service. After reading the reviews I realized I should have checked this place online first.

Being an only halal restaurant right at the waterfront National Harbor Maryland is A++ in itself and the food itself is so inexpensive especially if you see the location. I’m impressed with cleanliness and the ambiance. I got a bowl and it tasted delicious. I’m impressed how well done chicken was cooked yet it was juicy. The only thing I wanna mention is that please tell them to put less salad otherwise your entire bowl will be 75% salad because that’s the first thing they put into the bowl. If you’re a health freak and like to eat clean/healthy then this should be your go to place. P.S. they have other locations in Arlington, VA and Springfield, VA.
