UPDATE: The customer outreach team left a reply on this review to which I followed up on. They asked me which location I had visited, and I replied. It has now been 2 weeks and they still have not responded to my email. The customer outreach team obviously does not care about the guest experience but rather prefers to maintain the facade that they do. Laughable.
Original Review from 3 Weeks Prior: Came here for my birthday dinner with my partner and wish that I hadn’t. The food is good but service lacks from some of the front of house. It seemed as though we had two servers throughout the night, Jossany and a man. I had arrived about 5 minutes after my partner and within 2 minutes she visits the table. Her first words are “do you want anything else to drink?” She doesn’t say hello, my name is…, happy birthday, or anything remotely resembling a polite greeting. I tell her that I haven’t had a chance to look at the menu, which was obvious considering it was untouched on the side of the table. When I chose a wine, the male server was the one who assisted us. He was very polite and prompt. The dining experience was nice and the meats were delicious. The temperature of the meats was always different though, sometimes medium rare and other times medium well. About an hour and 15 minutes to 1.5 hours into dining, Jossany comes over with a check in her hands and asks if she can get us anything else. It’s very rude to present the check to guests when we were clearly not finished and our plates aren’t cleared. My partner gets another drink and then she cleared the plates from the table. My birthday dessert comes out shortly after, a delicious crème brûlée. She doesn’t bring out spoons so I look over to her expecting her to get the hint. She sees me and comes over with the check again. I tell her that we don’t have spoons and she says “oh.” No apology or anything. She grabs forks and asks us if they are okay. Obviously not; you can’t properly eat a crème brûlée with a fork. She brings the spoons and we enjoy the crème brûlée. When the check comes back around and my partner pays, she forgets to put his card in the checkbook and doesn’t realize until we say something to her. I, myself, am a server. I am also human and understand that mistakes are made. However, this experience was had purely because of a lack of care or even experience. I unfortunately won’t be coming back or recommending...
Read moreI've been to this location last year and had an amazing experience. This time around, I can not say the same. I made a reservation with several requests, including that it was my mom's birthday. We got there, and were told that we would have to wait at least another 20 minutes to get the table requested. We decided not to wait and take whatever was available, since it was already crowded.
Got to the table, and the server was unfriendly. She clearly didn't see any note that we requested the best of Brazil special, or that it was my mom's birthday. I told her that we wanted to do the best of Brazil and she walked away with out going over the drink menu. Someone came by and tossed a bowl of bread on our table (which was never refilled the entire night). After we can from the salad bar, the menus were removed, so we had no clue on what drinks to order. I eventually asked another server for help (she was nicer than the other one) and she got us our drinks. The food was okay - in consistent. The sides came out when we were half way done with our meal. During our experience, the original server came to check on us once and at that point, we were almost done eating. I never got the birthday dessert for my mom, as I requested when I made the reservation.
I requested my check from a 3rd server and he charged me $100 more than I should've been charged! I got up and walked over to him, since finding help to come to the table was so hard all night. I told him that I was overcharged, and he grabbed the bill out of my hand and asked someone else standing there to fix it. To top it off, when I got to the restroom, there was a line of 5 people waiting to get in. To our surprise, it was two staff members chatting away loudly on their phones, not caring about the paying customers in line. We waited 15 minutes to use the restroom, as only 1 of 3 was available to be use by customers. The restroom was extremely hot and lacked ventilation.
Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. I've never been treated this way or had such a terrible experience at any of your chains. What is the point of making advance requests, if none of it will be done? Your servers seriously need customer service training. My mom didn't have a great...
