FOOD & SAFETY DANGER: I was a big fan of this restaurant as my mom and I would share memories hereโuntil recently. When arriving, I informed the food handler (server), that I am going to order two meals off the menu but will adjust the ingredients as I just recovered from food poisoning. I should have known better when I seen her wearing the same gloves she was initially touching everything with and proceed to began my meal digging in the salad to began my meal. Thereafter, she grabs one (1) pair of tongs and proceeds to dig in the pulled chicken then proceeds to dig the same tongs across every vegetable, cheese, fruit and nuts on the serving platter. I couldnโt believe my eyes watching the lack of care of cross contamination as I watched the juices and remains of each item spoiling one another. I stopped the young lady and told her what she was doing and that I no longer wanted my meal. An older lady (whom looked like the manager), said she would make my second dish and used (what appeared to be), fresh tongs on each item and charged me for that one meal. After waking out the store feeling like I was a burden to their day and hustled to pay for a meal after their grave mistake, I threw the food away. I realized: how many time today did this cross contamination happen by that same food handler and why was she not taught properly by the manager severing food right next to her? Is this their standards of food and safety? Also, how many hours was this food sitting out today after the food has been cross contaminated with pork, beef and chicken being dipped into the corn, onions, carrots, tomatoes, oranges, sesame seeds and other delicate produce? Lastly, was all this food recycled from yesterday and previous days this week? With a good conscious of not wanting to be hospitalized again, I...
ย ย ย Read moreI just left Nalley Fresh and I am so ANNOYED! I ordered a salmon and shrimp cesar wrap, as always, for $19.35. NOT WORTH the money but hey, it is delicious. My issue is not about the money but with the assistant manager, GLORIA! I always get my shrimp and salmon warmed up in the wok because I like some warmth to my wrap. BUT the lady, GLORIA, told me NO today when the manager allows me to get it as long as it was not crowded. (This change was weird to me because they did it in the past with no issue!!)
But anywho, I advised her of what the manager told me. She decides to start speaking Spanish about me to the boy "JC". After some going back and forth, she finally told him to warm up the seafood after I told her that I would record that NO ONE was in the store ordering but me so she could not use the excuse that "it was busy"! I just don't understand what the issue is with making sure the customer is happy. Why do I have to get an attitude for doing something that doesn't take long to prepare.
They just want to stand around and talk and get paid to do nothing. As someone said in a previous review, they are rude and NF needs new employees who will not talk about you in their language. I hope the manager will rectify this situation!
I had to write this review because this is the 3rd time that I have had to deal with Gloria! Normally, I would walk out, as I did the other 2 times that I have to deal with her, but I really wanted the wrap. The manager makes it with no issue but not this lady! I really need to stop spending my money where I am...
ย ย ย Read moreFresh food, rotten attitudes! Visited this location last night. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. I pointed to the chicken I wanted and asked the employee what kind it was. She snapped, "CHIPOTLE!" then looked away. This is the second time I have been in there and this same girl was rude to me. When she asked me which add ons I wanted, she spoke so low I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. This seemed annoy her. She mumbled something and pushed my salad bowl to another employee and took the next customer. Then it got worse. The next employee cuts an egg up in the salad and says, "I have to charge you .50 extra for the egg" I asked her why because the menu on the wall said the egg came with the salad. I was confused by why she would be discussing prices with me in the first place. She went on to say something about the "light menu" and the egg and she was waving her hands and gesturing. There was a slight language barrier. I told her I hadn't asked for a "lighter menu" and I wasn't understanding what she was talking about. She sighed and said, "Okay I no charge you for de egg!" None of the other employees came to assist. They stood and watched her be rude to me. It was an awful experience. When I got the the register, I told the cashier I didn't think those girls were too happy. He could hear how rude they were. He said, "Okay I'll talk to them. How's the weather outside?" I told him it was fine out there but bad in here and that customer service was everything. I will never go...
