Panera Bread — Restaurant in Maryland

I’ve always liked this Panera Bread because it’s close to my school so ordering ahead for lunch is quick and easy. Today I order my usual bbq chicken flat bread (without the chicken). I always do the pick 2. So I Picked up my food, got my drink, and was on my way back to school. After eating my salad I noticed a red sauce all over the flatbread box. When I opened the sandwich I realized it wasn’t the normal (brown) bbq and they probably made a mistake. my lunch break is only 30min When I returned asking the employee “what’s the red sauce, it’s suppose to be bbq sauce” she looked at me and said she didn’t know and would I mind waiting for it to be remade. Even though I was well over my break I said I didn’t mind. The staff remade my sandwich and when I get back to school I took a bite, it’s the same red pepper sauce and not the bbq sauce that comes on the flatbread sandwich. I was late coming from my break and I waiting for them to remake the incorrect sandwich again. Long story short, I won’t be returning. What if I was allergic to...

Very poor customer service from the food preparers. The woman who made my sandwich, Claudia, made my Napa sandwich and wrapper it too tight which caused it to look half the normal size. When I asked if the sandwich was now smaller or if the bread the used was just on the small side, the other food preparer Danielle waived two pieces of bread at me like a smart aleck. After talking to Mike, the manager, he opened the sandwich which, over the course of two minutes tripled in size, and we realize she packed it way too tight. Mike did not offer to rectify the situation by having the sandwich prepared properly. He just went along with my request for a refund. This is the third instance where the food prepares are carelessly making food. While I was talking to Mike, both girls were gossiping and giggling about the whole thing like it was funny. So needless to say, I will not be spending any more money, Panera bread because they like to hire children who don’t understand...

After a few times of trying this place and being really disappointed of the quality of the food I finally decided it was time to write a review. The location is nice with plenty of parking in the corner of a shopping center. The atmosphere is okay and it was generally clean and the staff was friendly. I order at the counter to-go for myself and picked up an order for a friend. When the cashier saw me get my order and still standing there she was attentive and provided an update on my friend’s food. But yall the food is just making me mad at this point. The quality of the food is subpar and it’s consistently smooshed, rushed, practically incomplete and overall unappetizing. I ordered the Southwest Chicken melt. I know food will almost never look as advertised but there should be some resemblance. The wait for the food was pretty long, which I wouldn’t have minded if the sandwich was assembled properly.
