Where do I start? So, I know this particular location is pretty slow on Sunday's in the afternoon after church. However, I worked a 10 hour shift at work (7a-5p) and decided to get something "quick" for dinner. I walk in to the location at approx. 5:30 pm and first thing I notice are two small kids playing in the lobby. Not uncommon. As I wait fourth in line behind one customer, a family four and one other customer, the two little kids get louder. The cashier stopped what she was doing, to approach the kids in the lobby. Only, to find out that they were her kids. She yelled at them and made them sit. She then returned behind the counter and never washed her hands. She continued with her job. The family of four was up to order. The cashier took the order and had to wait on mild tenders. Order comes up, family of four leave. Next customer up and the cashier begins to take the order. After completing the request, the cashier comes to the lobby again to approach her kids. She returns behind the counter again a start fixing the customer order without washing her hands for the second time. Finally (5:41 pm) it's my turn. She takes my simple order ( 5pc tenders, fries and drink) and my payment. I was told there was a wait on tenders. Ok, no prob! Two other customers behind me receive their food as I wait patiently. Two trays of tenders come up and she completes another order. I approach, tenders in eye sight. I ask " tenders done yet?" as I hold my drink in my hand. She replies "Did I take your order?" I remained calm. Yes, I had the number 6 I replied. She then completes my order after 25 minutes (5:55 pm) of standing there waiting. The manager who seemed clueless and let his employees do whatever they wanted, needs to be fired or demoted. There was no management at all. She should have been sent home if she did not have child care. The customer service here was HORRIBLE!!!!! It's rare that I go to this location, but I will never come back!!! Something needs to be done at...
Read more0 stars. DELIVERY DRIVERS BEWARE. Arrived around 10 pm last night (6/08/2023) to a very unpleasant atmosphere. The young lady at the register taking orders was so rude and disrespectful. She was rolling her eyes at everyone and kept saying idk what everyone is looking at like she wasnât the one taking orders or something. Each customer that came up to her she had a nasty attitude. Her description is skinny, brown skin, about 5 5 to 5 7 in height, hair was in a ponytail that resembles a Hershey kiss. She ignored every delivery person. It was 5 of us. The Caucasian male that was there before I arrived said he wasnât helped so I asked who is helping fulfill delivery orders and her reaction was she slightly turned and rolled her eyes looked me up and down and said âI donât do deliveriesâ. So I asked who does DO DELIVERIES. She then responded with an attitude âthe managerâ so I said well then get the manager. She sucked her teeth left then the other staff took over. The male with locs that was mopping took over he wasnât as rude as her however he moved so slow and seemed to be high or just out of It. After 15 minutes of waiting for him to start on my order he tells me thereâs no blackened chicken so cancel my whole order because they donât have anything for It. He said âmatter fact we havenât had any all day â. Just horrible...
Read moreI was told the wait on spicy chicken was 20-25 minutes. I accepted the wait. 45 minutes later the chicken still wasnât ready and the mild strips were now not ready. I told the manager Ike I wanted a refund and the general manager name and number. He wouldnât give me either but did provide the refund. Told me to go online for any other information. Then he began to get agitated when I said excuse me I would like the info I requested. He told me to look on line and he doesnât give his last name. He began to become belligerent. I have eaten at Popeyes in the DMV for close to 40 yrs and will never go to this location and will definitely tell my friend the same. I love the chicken but I may not go to another Popeyes. My next step is to find out who the owner is and ensure he/she knows that Ike should never be leading anything. The cashier and another staff member were very kind. Oh I forgot to mention my kids were with me to witness this...
