Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Maryland

Gone here before, but today the 1st young ladies had NO professional customer service skills. Gave us a dry “hello” and as I was ordering she kept rolling her eyes and looked impatient. The 2nd young lady came to ring up my order and charged me for a Sundae instead of a small custard and I didn’t realize until I went to my car. I went back into the store and was approached by the first young lady who scooped the ice cream she just rolled her eyes yet again. She proceeded to tell the second young lady “she said you charged her for a Sundae and not a custard” and walked back over to me and asked “you want an additional topping”. I told her “no, not really” and she walked back to the second young lady. The second young lady yelled out “well you know what I can just cash app you the extra dollar”. I am not sure why they thought that “cash app” was appropriate for their mistakes. Both young ladies seemed irritated that I even came back inside the store. I told both females to not worry about the extra charge and walked out. I can only imagine how many other people have been extra charged. I didn’t even receive a “I’m sorry about that”.

I tried to scan my rewards app and was told by the second young lady that I would have to input the code after I received my receipt. She gave me my first receipt and I asked so how do I input the code and she said “I’m not sure, another customer told me that’s how she does it.” I told her I could not find how to do it and she just looked at me like I was stupid. Last time I will be going to this location. So...

My family and I love Rita's. Every where we travel, we go to Rita's because we are truely loyal customers. The last time I came to this location, the employee gave me a hard time because I ordered a kiddie size but didnt have my kids with me. My kids were in the car with my husband. I was able to get my order despite the employee's resistance. Today, my family went back to this Rita's and was told they no longer sell kiddie sizes. I am very disappointed with this location and will never come back here again. Customers should have a choice of how much they eat. Most likely my child will not eat all of their ice and I will waste money or it will be a stuggle trying to make sure he doesn't eat a regular size. I've been to the Rita's in College Park and Bowie recently and they both still sell kiddie size. Is there a reason why this location in this neighborhood chooses to not offer...

I just visited a location in which I will not be returning anymore. You have two girls working plus the manager came out on the phone. One was making orders and the other was ringing up customers. I asked the girl did she charge me correctly.She seemed fairly new. I was overcharged for toppings & when I showed the manager she barely looked at my receipt. She was worried about getting to the next customer..I just left because when I was giving my order, the manager asked me to step down to the cash register and the girl would continue my order…People were getting their orders and paying before me..When the girl repeated my order to the cashier, she must’ve heard wrong because she was multi-tasking.The customer service is trash and I thought it would’ve been different my second...
