(A Male using wife's profile) If I could give negative stars, I would! Had the worst experience here this morning (Checkers on Leonardtown Rd. in Waldorf, MD). I work in customer service/sales. so this is really big to me. Checkers opens at 10am (which I did not know BTW-thinking they opened earlier). I pulled up to the Drive Thru Speaker/Mic at 9:55am. I waited for a minute. Someone yells out of the speaker "we open at 10". As a light hearted joke, I said "Oh, ok...is it possible for you to take my order and put it in at 10"? I was ignored... So then, someone yells out at 9:57, "you can't sit there"... I was like, "I'm sorry, excuse me?"... They repeated, "You can't sit there". Then I heard "we will call the police". I immediately felt disrespected and asked for the manager. (Now, there is no sign stating you cannot sit in the drive thru and if this is their policy, the way it was unprofessionally yelled at me (by a manager and their staff), was unacceptable)...It is now 9:58 and now another car has pulled up behind me (this makes two cars now, including mine) waiting for 10am. The manager comes to the speaker and yells out very rudely "I am the manager and you cannot sit there, you have to drive back around and come back at 10"... At this point, I am just flabbergasted at what's going on. I asked the manager, "So you want me to drive around and come back at 10, but there is another car behind me...and since it's 9:59, by the time I drive around, this car will pull up and it will be 10am and they will be able to order, even though I sat here for 5 minutes waiting patiently having to endure this horrible customer service". The manager walked away and at 10:02am, a new young lady came through to take my order. Once she was finished, I drove up and let her know, it wasn't her giving the poor customer service, it was the manager and another employee. The young lady at the window understood my point and offered to provide my food at no charge. Unfortunately, my feelings about this place have been swayed by the the manager and one of employees. I will NEVER go back to this Checkers again. NO ONE SHOULD.... Customer Service: Negative 5 (-5). (P.S.    Read moreI was at the Checkes #5380 on January 1, 2024 at 1136am. I have the Checkers/Rally's rewards and have a reward "BUY ONE BACON ZILLA GET ONE FREE expiration January 2, 2025. The cashier at the walk up order window said I could not use this reward until Jan. 2. I tried to explain to her the reward was good until Jan. 2 that I wanted to use the coupon today. She still insisted the coupon was not good. After arguing she said what did I want to order. I said the reward was what I wanted plus 4 apple pies small fries and a checker single no lettuce no tomato. She said ok. I paid with my credit card. After I paid she shut the window glass on me. I knocked on the window and said I want my receipt but she just walked away. When I went to the pick up window I asked the different person for my receipt which she gave me. I looked at the receipt and I was charged for 2 baconzillas not one. I went to the Order window and said I want a refund for one of the burgers she said no. I said I was going to call the police she said go ahead and shut the window on me. I called the police but they said I had to make a complaint to the corporate office it was a civil matter which I am now doing. If this complaint is not taken care of I will make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the Maryland Attorney...
   Read moreEverytime I visit this checkers there is this one young man (employee) that always has his pants below the belt (sagging) it is very unattractive to look at as you are sitting there waiting on your food. Then one of the managers (Hispanic lady can't remember her name tho) that is very rude... Had quite a few times where they have messed up my order and she got real nasty when asked if they could fix it right (ex.) I ordered a burger with no tomatoes (I'm allergic to tomatoes) so I asked if they could redo it so she took it and gave me back a sandwich and to my surprise it was the same Burger that had the tomatoes on it, they just took them off and you could tell because it still had the seeds and juice from the tomato and remind you that I told them that I was allergic so if I hadn't looked at it before I bit into it I would of ended up in the hospital... So I complained to this manager about what was going on and she told me that she wasn't going to fix another not give me my money back because there was nothing wrong with the burger and what I was looking at was "cheese" smh . I reported her...
