"Hunter Hound: A Perfect Venue for Our Holiday Party" "We recently hosted our annual holiday cocktail party at Hunter's Hound, and it was a resounding success. From the initial reservation process to the final goodbyes, the staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring the space was arranged perfectly to our liking. Arriving early, I had the pleasure of meeting the bartender who would be assisting us, along with the rest of the friendly staff. While service initially felt a bit slow in getting consistent drink orders beyond the bartender, we addressed this with a manager, and were promptly assigned a dedicated server who worked seamlessly alongside the bartender. This significantly improved the flow of the evening and helped to get dishes cleared at a greater speed. The food arrived promptly and was hot, though I wish they had a wider selection of shareable options, such as oysters, for a more social dining experience. While the food wasn't the most exquisite, everyone enjoyed their hors d'oeuvres. The dessert, however, was absolutely delicious. Hunter Hound itself was beautifully decorated for the holidays, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The space was perfect for our group of around 40 guests, allowing ample room for mingling and comfortable movement. Parking was convenient with validation offered, although it doesn't fully cover the cost. Nonetheless, it was a hassle-free process. Overall, our holiday party at Hunter Hound was a delightful experience. We highly recommend this venue and plan to return for a work happy hour in the future."

Excellent food and drinks, i ate here twice on a business trip. The Irish chicken curry was delicious, wings were crispy, food came out so hot I had to wait a while to dig in. My servers were both attentive and very friendly & professional. I had the Soup of the day, which was very tasty but WAY too hot I needed to wait 10mins to begin eating it. The Irish chicken curry was extremely tasty and the highlight was the Sticky toffee pudding. 3 x courses and 3 x glasses of wine + tip was in excess of $100 so it’s not a standard Irish bar price point but its also not a standard Irish bar feel or fare either. I gave 4 * for service as 1 of my servers could’ve been a little more knowledgeable about the menu, she hadn’t tasted most of it, she was extremely helpful and charming to chat too and I appreciate honesty. However the other server was very informed and recommended the sticky toffee pudding which was the highlight for me. The atmosphere was a little quiet and slightly confused with a live Jazz band and football being on big screens, also the room seemed very bright. I would personally have preferred a more traditional Irish style of music and more atmospheric vibe/ lighting, this is being picky but for the price point I think that’s fair. I overall thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back.

I went here for supper. The server greeted me politely when I arrived. I ordered a pineapple cider. It wasn't to my taste, but some folks who like super sweet cider might enjoy it. I ordered fish and chips for supper. It came with one large piece of fish and two smaller ones. The fish was nicely cooked with a crunchy batter. It was served with a generous portion of fries and a side of tartar sauce and ketchup. The server brought a bottle of malt vinegar without me asking, which I thought was a nice touch. Over the course of my meal I was served by three different people, but overall the service was good. The manager came by and checked in on everything at a few different tables, which impressed me. One point worth noting is the noise. The restaurant was about half full, but the volume of the noise made the experience less enjoyable. The decor includes what appeared to be time tiles on the ceiling, which are cool to look at but may have contributed to the noise. If you don't mind it loud, this is a decent place. I expect that anyone who is Hard of Hearing would have a hard time having a conversation here. There were some interesting looking cocktails and food items on the menu and I might go back again to try them.

Hello - my name is Meaghen - I was in your restaurant on Friday, November 8th with very good family friends (who are also my hair styling team!). We had a lovely dinner with some amazing food and company. We were at the restaurant a bit later in the evening for dinner and the hostess sat us close to a party in the bar area. It was initially fine; however, got louder after a few minutes of sitting in that area. Your Managing Partner, Ms. Niamh O'Donovan realized we needed to move by making eye contact with me across the room. Her ability to survey the situation quickly allowed us to move to another area within the restaurant. Ms. O'Donovan greeted us without missing a beat and seamlessly moved us to the other side of the restaurant. She was gracious, mindful, respectful and very professional. We were very appreciative. She made sure our dinner and appetizers arrived in a timely manner. The wait staff was attentive, kind and gracious and took the time to make sure we enjoyed our evening.

We were also provided a lovely dessert that was delicious and Ms. O'Donovan checked on us several times throughout the evening. The atmosphere was festive, the service impeccable and the food delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will be back very soon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart from one Irish girl to another. We so appreciated your thoughtfulness and attention.
