Online ordering and express pickup clearly need some work.

I ordered a few things to try out this place. Despite the website saying everything was available in store, I received an email saying only part of my order was fulfilled. I contacted the help desk and they were able to clear up whatever the issue was. Still, there seems to be a disconnect between the website, store, and customer service (note: They had the items in stock, but they weren't pulled for my order for whatever reason until I inquired).

I stopped by to pick up my order the day after placing it. They have a neat feature where you notify them you're on your way so things can be ready for you. I clicked that before the 25 minute trip. I pulled into the express spot and clicked the "I'm here" option. And waited...and waited...and waited.

Nobody came in or out of the back pickup area. I figured they were sorting through things to grab my order. After 20 minutes, I gave up waiting and went to the storage/pick up area. Imagine my surprise when NO ONE WAS BACK THERE! If I hadn't gone in, I'd probably still be waiting there... I rang the bell and someone came and finally helped me with my order.

The express pickup option seems like a great idea, especially with the "I'm on my way" button to give the employees a little bit of extra time to gather everything, but unfortunately...

An amazing experience. I'm just a retail customer but was treated like I was their best customer as I walked in the door. I was greedy with a a smile and was on my way through the warehouse.

This business is of course mainly to service restaurants and Commercial establishments but luckily they are open to retail customers as well. They had a great selection of anything you can imagine for the kitchen with very few items that required a large quantity purchase.

I found the prices to be very good, and they also had a lot of quality kitchen gadgets that are not easily found elsewhere.

I chose to join for the $60 annual be which seems reasonable given the inventory they hold.

If you're anything like me you might find it a little dangerous walking through the warehouse because I wanted just about everything they had.🙂

Highly recommend for anyone who wants to update their kitchen with utensils of all kind.

They also had all sorts of cleaning supplies paper goods etc.

Restaurant Store in Woodlawn is where I furnished my last 2 locations. Vince is my go to guy and gets me prices on all my equipment as soon as I request them. Other places you can wait days, not here! Matt use to be my contact years ago and Vince has picked up right up and has been a pleasure to work with, I look forward to doing my third location with him. Not to mention I’m in there at least 3 or 4 times a week and spend about 1500.00 each week and he’s always pleasant and ready to lend a hand. This store has a lot of new faces but it’s always assuring to see him when I walk...
