I don't usually review things because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. And I absolutely love 5 Rights and totally understand it was a crazy busy night but this particular experience just kind ofrubbed me the wrong the way. After waiting in a long as line to order food ( which was fine. It was a busy night because a band was playing) we ordered the chicken sandwich and I said " I want to order in addition a side of Macaroni salad " meaning i wanted the chips and pickle that came with the sandwich but wanted to pay extra for the side. They said food wait time was 30 min. Again..totally understand thst. Almost and hour and a half goes by and we finally get our food. I'm not mad just hungry at this point. We get a VERY small sandwich and small side of mac salad.($16) No pickle and chips. So I go to the pick up window and say I totally understand your busy but I actually ordered the side mac salad in addition to my sandwich so we still need the chips and pickle. The lady proceeded to tell me that that is not what was rung up so if I felt it was worth it to get back in the very long line to correct the cashier and add that mac salad then she was would give me my chips and pickle. I was a little taken back by the horrible customer service at that moment. It was not my fault the cashier got it wrong and she was determined to be very petty about a simple side if chips and a pickle. The customer behind me was also a little taken back by the whole conversation. So moral of the story I was disappointed in the...
Read moreExcellent staff. RJ is a great owner and he really cares about both his workers and his patrons. He makes great beers too. The Nellies is my favorite Hefeweizen of all time anywhere in the US, and I’ve traveled! The juicy bruit is one of my favorite IPAs. I’m excited for “Roberta” to be back on tap soon. For food, it’s very standard American, and I don’t recommend bringing a date here “for food”. I would say go to Jeff’s BBQ first (and Jeff has an IPA on here as well) and then make your way down State to 5 Rights for the beer. I’m not bashing the kitchen, the food is decent, but if you are trying to get to know someone over a pint, your food will probably get cold, and it does lose something…if that makes sense. I usually try to eat before I come here, and that’s a preference. If there’s an event or concert going on, it gets really loud here, and you cannot hear each other…just a heads up for...
Read moreFinally! The south end of Marysville (old town) now has a great place to meet up, hang out and enjoy a wonderful craft beer. I didn't think this would ever happen. They have an amazing 20+ beers on tap and food from the Wander Cafe which is literally on the other side of the wall. The beers I've had so far have been great. Families are welcome (root beer on tap, too!). They just opened, so expect seating to be limited in their cozy tap room until the newness wears off and they develop their core clientele. The decor is simple and natural - inspired by the PNW and the health care/medical field (research their name and you'll see why - genius!). The current vibe is busy, loud and exciting. It's obvious the patrons are happy this place is here. I was pleased to see that there were all different ages and types of folks coming to see what this new tap room...
