Read moreGood little low impact hike, it terminates at picnic table where you can watch the Martins do their thing. Make sure you wear some type of mosquito repellent. The "lagoons" for the water treatment plant are an excellent breeding ground. (Fun fact only the female mosquito drinks blood).
It's a nice flat low impact trail. I would not recommend it for a solo outing for the ladies however. Not because it's particularly dangerous or has a large number of potential felons hiding in the bushes but just because there may be other people using it and with the high bushes and the trail only having one start point instead of it being a loop it, well, I wouldn't want one of my younger sisters using it by themselves during the twilight hours. And again, I can't stress this enough: I am not saying it's dangerous. I'm not saying we need police patrols and security cameras. I'm just saying be smart, be aware and be safe :)
