I remember going to this place many many times throughout my childhood. It used to be great, basically 5 stars. But as the ownership changed, so did the quality of the food. I stopped going for a while and just recently decided to give them another chance. My previous 2 experiences with them were solid and the food was on point. I had ordered a bento box bith times and it met expectations with the spicy chicken and Katsu being the stars of the dish. Obviously the prices have been inflated due to the crisis so I can't dock them anything for the increase. Thats just how businesses are going to be now. My most recent visit was less than pleasant. To be fair they were slammed and that could've been a major contributing factor to my poor experience. Nevertheless, it is no excuse for having to "repair" an order 3 times. I called in 4 orders. The most tricky apperantly was a spicy chicken and pork teriyaki. I get there, and only pork is in it. They take it back and add a mediocre portion of Regular Teriyaki chicken, even though I specified it to be spicy. I get to my car and check it, and run back inside to let them know. They took the whole plate back into the kitchen. Which is something that no one else during this COVID situation is doing given the risk of exposure. I would have been happy with a side of spicy chicken to be on my way, but they were insistent on taking the whole container back to the kitchen to fix the order. I waited a total of about 30 minutes after they had handed me my original meals and by the time I got home everything besides the repaired meal was cold. They didn't even offer any form of sympathy or compensation for the terrible experience. Usually, they can go for at least a 4 star rating but u think today was about a 2 star day for them considering the cold food, tough pork, and the lack of rice in the chicken...
Read moreI've been going here for years now, it was my to go place to get teriyaki, I would drive from Lake stevens just to get the food atleast once a week. I loved their spicy chicken 5 stars, they recently changed their recipe for the spicy chicken and I'm not a fan I've ordered twice already the first time caught me by surprise when I got home it had onions, I don't like onions so the second time I ordered without onions to give it another try and I was really disappointed I got extra spicy and it just tastes like plain chicken with a lot of garlic no spice at all I did what I'venever done before I had to put teriyaki sauce on it to make it taste like something, ended up pretty mutch just eating the rice, I liked the option to make it spicy from 1 to 5 stars not everyone has the same spice level so it was good to have that option and now it's just the same for everyone. I'm sad to say that I will probably will not be buying more from here , the salad is good the dressing is better then before the chicken jakisoba is also good just saw that i has way less then before, I always order the same food so that's the only thing I've noticed on...
Read moreThis review is targeted for families with toddlers or families with children/kids who like to be outgoing and loud. My experience here has left me without words. I called the establishment and spoke with the owner about the situation but he stood by his actions. My family and I were dining here with our 2 year old toddler. She was playing joyfully with a toy of hers and making lots of noise just like a happy and excited toddler would. While we were eating, a female worker came up to us and told us to quiet down our toddler or we could have our food to go because they generously have boxes for us. We were all children at one point and need to understand that kids are loud. She was not bothering anyone and was playing on her own. So families with children please avoid this establishment if you don’t want to be asked to quiet down or have your food to go. Save yourself the money. My family and I won’t be returning here after being regulars. We have a family of over 20+ people who would visit many times monthly. Unfortunately for them that’s gone. Once again, be advised if you’re a family. They are not...
