I had to revise my review after going there Saturday night for karaoke and seeing the changes they have and are still making to make it more customer friendly for karaoke. The owner is extremely nice and receptive. They reorganized the pool room area to better accommodate dancing and karaoke, but they still have further plans to expand that room even more. They are even discussing opening the wall between the restaurant and the bar for more room and accessibility. I had eaten already before I arrived Saturday, but my friends say the food was amazing and they don't normally eat Tai or Pho food. They said the dish called, "Crying Tiger' was the best thing they ever tasted. I asked if it was spicy, given the name, but they all said that it wasn't spicy. It was just amazing. The service was cheerful and attentive too. They have 2 different karaoke hosts. The one that has been there a while has shows on Thursday and Friday nights, and now they have the Karaoke hosts (Mitch and Remy) every Saturday 8-12 and Sunday 6-10. I feel like this place is gong to be a huge success given that they are addressing the limited Karaoke space and they added many more tables and seating there as well. The Village Taphouse where Mitch and Remy used to host for years, is having some serious financial issues. They couldn't afford liability insurance if they kept live music and their regular hours of 11pm closing on the weekends. No live music or karaoke and they close at 9pm. That crowd will be going somewhere and given the turnout of Mitch and Remy's first Sabaijai show Saturday night, it's just a matter of time until word of mouth brings the rest of the former Village customers along too. Check out the restaurant and stop by for karaoke Saturdays 8-12 and Sundays 6-10 pm. Tell them MrJim sent you!!!

I’m a half-Thai and grew up eating dishes from my Thai Mom, who worked in a 5-star hotel serving international cuisines (she was in charged of the Thai food). The Thai food at Sabaijai’s spectacular and authentic. My partner and I stopped by here during our road trip to get the papaya salad, larb and spring rolls to go. We were so impressed by the food that the next day, when we arrived at another town, we ordered the same dishes at another Thai restaurant, hoping to be wow-ed again. However, we were disappointed by the latter restaurant. It was fine / decent like any other Thai restaurants but nothing I was impressed by. Do note that Sabaija’s so authentic that spice level 2 out of 4 is likely very spicy for most folks in the US because my partner had to take several breaks to cull the heat but that didn’t stop him from eating because he truly enjoyed the food.

A Disheartening Dining Experience I’ve been a loyal patron through the hands of two previous owners, both of whom delivered exceptional food and service. Unfortunately, the current ownership falls short in every aspect. Here's a bit of guidance: the essence of classic Thai cuisine seems lost with you. Imagine my surprise when I saw lettuce in a Banh Mi! A pork Banh Mi that should have been delightful turned into a chaotic, ingredient-lacking mess. My request for a side of fish sauce? Completely ignored. As for the Pho, it tasted as though someone dissolved a bouillon cube in water—no spices, no depth, no character. My wife's shrimp fried rice was equally unimpressive, a dish that truly disappointed. Do yourself a favor: choose a different venue. This isn't the place to invest your time or money if you're seeking quality and authentic dining.

Update; So As to this review I recived a reply saying that I must have the wrong place cause they dont have vapes and all this there charging.. No I know that I had the right place, I was sitting out side the doors when I started that post, I know what I saw there and there wasn't but a few other customers there at that time. I WOULD NEVER MAKE A FALS REVIEW that is not who I am and Im truly disappointed that you don't belive your employees would do or have done what I have decribed cause it did plain and simple. This place it was definitely a mom and pop sort of place now dont get me wrong I love mom and pop kind of places, but I saw a young man come in I believe with DoorDash or something along those lines, and a lady was standing there who was on the phone and had been for some time before he came in and she ask him, something he said something then showed her his phone, and she stood there and continued to talk on the phone for the next I swear 10 minutes. Then when the young man is looking at his phone and at his watch. Being very polite, the lady looks over behind the counter, and says chicken to the young man and he look kind of confused, and he goes DoorDash, waiting for my order for DoorDash, she then says, oh chicken and she's continuing to talk on the phone as if he wasn't there. Once more she doesn't talk to anybody else except for the person on the phone. Doesn't ask another employee about anything. She just continues to talk on her phone like there was nobody there. She was talking like she was chatting with her friend and she was at home. This just blew me away. It's very disappointing to see that they've got a drivers coming in there and they're basically being blown off because she's on the phone. It was for 10 minutes at least. There were 2 or 3 cell phones plugged in around the counter one on the table, and there were vapes on the floor It was kind of like she was at home and was just putting things wherever. This place use to be a Nice family restaurant back in the day. The owner back in 2009 were much better at running this place. It's just so very disappointing to know that customers, are treated second best when they should be for the most part treated good, that is if you want them back. From what I have just seen, they're treating the customers that order things to go bad cause they are willing to let the customers' food go cold due to the fact that she cared more about talking on the phone then getting food out to the customers that order it ood.was on the phonelike, second best when the order was ready. She was just too busy getting her chat on. Not she didn't care about getting food out fast,to top it off customers alot of the time will blame a driver for their food being cold when they get it.all due to the lady screwing around, instead of asking the cook where the food was when it was sitting right there in the room. They should get the finished order somewhere where these drivers can grab the orders. I'll never be...

I'm a Door Dasher food delivery driver! I picked up food from here when I was dashing, and I always look for new places I've never been to dine in! My babe loves Thai food, so I suggested this new place! When we tried the front door, there was a note on the door to use the second door because apparently that door was broken? My wife was on crutches, and that door was closest to the dining area! So I told her to wait, and I would go thru the second door and ask them if they could please open the main door because my babe is on crutches! After a lil shove, they opened the door, and we entered the dining area. So the waitress came and attempted to pour us cold water as I said no, thank u, it is cold in here as I noticed that they only had a small heater near the front door for heat? As I asked her if she could bring us some hot tea! When she brought the tea kettle with two cups, there weren't any spoons or sugar, and I asked her if she could bring a spoon and some sugar! So, while I was putting sugar in my cup and while I stirred it I saw something black that look like a crumb or a bug that appeared to have come out of the sugar bowl, and I immediately threw it out! We ordered appetizers while waiting on our main course! We ordered Crispy Wontons which came with a sweet sauce on the plate and cheesy wontons which came on another plate! While dipping the cheesy Wontons into my sweet sauce, it tasted like mold Eww? So my wife said try my sauce as I did and it didn't have that mold taste at all! So I told the waitress that the sauce was bad! Main course came and it was good! We were the only people dining so the waitress should have been more attentive to see how we were doing! The dining area had no soy sauce and should have been on the table as part of the condiments! I had to get up get my own fork from a different table and find the soy sauce huddled with the other soy sauces when it should've been on the DINING ROOM TABLE! Also, while I looked around, I noticed food crumbs on another dining room chair Eww on the next table across from us? Having items available on the table and being attentive to your customers without having us getting up to look for items that clearly should've been on the dining room table is essential and being in a clean atmosphere where food is cleaned up and wiped down after the last people ate is proper! I WILL NOT...

I am an asian/thai cuisine lover. I have been to many great restaurants and this is not one of them. I apologize for not having pictures of the food I ordered, but I had tofu spring rolls and a chicken vermicelli plate. Plate made stirring and mixing everything difficult, noodles were too soft and soggy, I was given an entire piece of chicken that I had to cut up and ended up cutting into my noodles during the process. Vegetables did not taste fresh, the peanut sauce for the spring rolls had very little flavor and tasted like someone diluted it with water. The amount of tofu in the spring rolls themselves was a very small amount compared to the size of the spring rolls and the total size of each roll was not ideal. Like I said, I've been to many asian cuisines and I've had fresh spring rolls that have a deliciously fresh taste to them, this place did not have that fresh taste with their spring rolls or their food in general. Not a lot of spice/flavor and they were really lacking Thai food authenticity. The woman who served me did not have a welcoming, warm demeanor and her body language was very closed off. Wouldn't make eye contact with me most of the time and did not seem friendly or like she wanted to be there. Atmosphere of the place itself was okay, I ate when the majority of the dining area was empty, but the people that worked there did not seem like they wanted to be there, wanting to help people, or putting a smile on the faces of their customers. The amount of food I ate was relatively medium amount but the quality of the food made me sick to my stomach. Good restaurants provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes customers either feel relaxed, welcome, and/or happy to be there, and this place did not have any of that. I definitely won't come back any time soon and I would not recommend this place to family...
