I was unsure at first. We were seated quickly Sunday morning in the back dining room. We recieved our coffee quickly, so I thought it would be okay. However, as I looked around I noticed bare walls. Sure there was a picture here and there, a big sign on the wall that said "Fanny's"... so I worried a bit.
I am a picky eatter, always have been, so we ordered a few different things. He got an omelet with a biscuits and a side of country gravy, so we could try there Biscuits and Gravy without a full order. I got an egg breakfast and a waffle on the side with both butter & syrup as well as Strawberries and whip - both on the side.
Coffee was great while we waited for our food. Fresh creamer on the table and the cup was never empty... the staff was always asking if we needed anything... not just our waitress anyone who worked there and walked by.
The food came... Oh My Goodness. We ordered WAY to much. The amount of food on our plates shocked me. It not only looked like some picture on an ad, but there was tons of it. To say the least, it tasted as good as it looked. It was amazing food. Everything tasted wonderful, the staff was amazing, and then the bill... I was worried again!
NOPE! More then fair for the food and service we recieved. I am shocked that more people do not know about this place.
If you are thinking of trying somewhere new... try Fanny's. We will be...
Read moreI had a california benedict and added bacon to the spinach and tomato. The portion was huge, and there was enough spinach to make a salad. I was overjoyed when it arrived. However, when i cut into the poached egg, it was well done. One of the key things about benedicts, to me, is the runny yolked poached egg on top. I showed the server the egg, and she immediately offered to have it redone. They had chopped the bacon before putting it in the benedict, which was greatly appreciated. I'd chosen the house potatoes instead of hashbrowns and they were fantastic! She left those for me while the benedict was redone. I told her it was unnecessary to redo more than just the egg and more hollandaise. Within just a few minutes, it was back, and the eggs were perfect. The Hollandaise sauce was probably the best I've had. The flavor was completely balanced, and there was enpugh lemon to brighten the sauce without tasting lemony. Sometimes things happen, and people may have different ways of doing things, but when there's an ssue, all that counts is how it's handled. It was handled very well. I will definitely return for many more yummy looking things on the menu and when I'm craving a...
Read moreMy family and I have been religiously coming here weekly for years now. It's changed a little but definitely for the better. Didn't like the whole bar/cocktail vibe they were trying out for a while there not too long ago. Luckily for us, they thought the same and finally completely abandoned that idea and returned to their family-oriented, wholesome environment that made them a local favorite for so many years prior, and like before they don't disappoint! The lovely ladies that work here are among the sweetest you will be lucky enough to meet. Always so upbeat and smiling. Treat us like family always. That goes for anyone lucky enough to decide to curb their hunger here also. As for the food, as far as Marysville goes it's hands-down the absolute best there is. I normally only order a side of B's n G's and it's more than enough food for sure! I have dined at every restaurant around here several times and my #1 favorite restaurant that checks every box is Fannies 100%!! Please check them out. You will...
