Only the trained vegan eye can understand just HOW delicious these vegan enchiladas from the hot food bar are. SO good! I'm glad I got an EXTRA LARGE container and took a third of what they made. MUAHAHHA! There is butternut squash and cauliflower in it. Someone in the kitchen is made of love and makes love. Pure, sweet, holy, LOOOVE.

As of the time of writing, 100% of the other reviews were 5 stars, except one 1 star because apparently honey isn't vegan.

I find that ironically illuminating. This place is pretty good, but just be ready to descend into the company of some pretty intense idealogues. But the food is good!

BRING EARPLUGS or get it to go. I have been to quieter firing ranges.

More of a lunch place than dinner. Get the Tempe Katsu roll but don't be too hungry. Waffle bread with pesto dressing, very very yummy. Ordered golden goddess with ginger (was only OK), Kiawe chilli (pretty good but not great), Tempe katsu cutlets sandwich(was the winner despite being quite small) and za'atar roll ( kind of just veggies in a roll, good but not great. Tsaziki sauce good though).. Love and light smoothie terrible. Ice cream waffle OK, waffle a touch better than OK, raspberry...

Amazing food both raw and cooked! Everything is made with fresh local ingredients. Kombucha on tap. Juice bar with many great fruit and vegetable juice combinations and great smoothies. Great service and vibrant friendly staff a true reflection of the wholesome goodness of the living food they serve. Atmosphere is great lots of big wood beautiful art on the walls and good music playing softly in the background. Thank you Sha'anan and your staff for giving us wonderful meals...

This seems to be a really cool place if you are a SF style hippie: bare foot, Indian clothes (from expensive brands) iWatch & MacBook.

Organic & healthy food extremists. Ordering an orange juice will cost you more than one of their healthy juices. Problem is that they are unable to use spices with subtilty and our 2 juices were terrible. Maybe the worse the taste the healthier ?

The staff is not really friendly.
