I came in from Michigan to meet my sister and my Dad came in from Georgia to me up for a quick lunch - He drove an hour and 30 min for a 30 min meet up. He had ordered a drink that after only 1 sip, he noted did not tast right and tasted like Bark off a tree. We immediately went to the counter - no workers were in site, but can hear them laughing and talking in the back by the drive thew window where there were no customers but were looking at a crash that just took place, so I called "Hello" - no answer. I did this 4x with no response back before peering over the counter and raised my voice Hello? we are at the counter... Hayden, our cashier yelled back with an attitude "We will be RIGHT THERE!" she exclaimed. She walked to the counter and said with a straight face and a little attitude behind it "who can I help you?" I replied - well a Smile would be nice, but we would just like this remade or a refund and exchange it for something different, my dad didn't like the taste. She replied - "Well you will need to pay for that! I'm not making something for FREE.."
I have worked for Dunkin, I have worked in Customer service for 25yrs both as a Manager and an employee. I know that drinks can be remade and that the attitude was not needed, i explained this to her in a calm matter and her reply was "Well did you work at THIS location!?" I noted no I am from the North, and she cut me off said "I didn't think so, sounds to me your just looking for a free drink" and walked away from helping us.
Another lady came to the counter and asked if we wanted a refund, and my dad at this point said "No Thank you we will pay, I just want something that is more enjoyable then what I last received." I asked for a receipt and noted I was going to contact the store manager, and the employees asked with grotesque "How you gonna do that!?" I noted that It is simple, and not of their concern, but that they will be hearing from me about this experience.
We walked out and will never return to this location again! I have yet to leave my google review as I am a mother of 2 young kids. But this experience is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a food establishment. I love Dunkin, I rave about it all the time to my coworkers and is my go to choice for drinks and Donuts. I would not be saying that about the Mauldin SC location. I am so glad I do not live there because I would have more to say to the surrounding community about it.
We did not want free drinks, just good service. Hayden, was not what customer service embodies, she was the complete opposite and in my eyes just there for a check at the end of the day, not there to win customers or business from her community. Wanting more from what the accident across the street had to offer then who was in their store at the front counter that was unoccupied for 2 min. before arriving to meet the guests.
It was just my dad and I at the store 101 S main St. Muldin, SC 29662...

Me and my grandfather ordered food 1.the guy did not give us a receipt Was just doing the drive-through orders and handed them their food first instead of taking the customers that were upfront And handing them their food This is a complete. You really need to fix your store and make sure you check who you hire.
Me and my grandfather walked in there one day, maybe a month ago or less And He was handing I don’t know his name. I don’t remember what he looks like, but he was handing Other people, their food instead of ours So about maybe 10 minutes of staying there waiting for our food and seeing the drive-through and other people get served We asked him about it and he said it will be out in a minute And then we waited maybe another five or 10 minutes we were there for about a total of a half an hour Some lady asked what we’re waiting for and I told her and then I told the guy again what we’re waiting for we had to repeat herself at least five times and we spoke very clear and I know they were English And the lady goes I don’t even know what they’re saying and then proceeds to serve other people that is very unprofessional Meanwhile, I have my toddler in there with us So after 10 minutes of asking us what we’re waiting for and we told him another few minutes go on And he asked us again what we’re waiting for may I remind you manager we already told him about three times within the matter of 10 through 25 minutes of waiting and us telling him what we got And then he repeated it back to us and we repeated it back to him and we get to where we’re going our destination and we open it and he didn’t even do the orders, right !!! Your staff did not do the orders, right We repeated ourselves more than three times at at least after three times. I gave her attitude because I was very frustrated. It is unprofessional for your workers to say I don’t know what they’re saying and then proceed on and serve other people. How could you own or at least? How could you yourself? Let people like that work there especially when we’ve been standing there for 30 minutes. They were on professional. They were very rude.
Every time we go We’re always waiting 10 minutes through a half an hour. This is ridiculous. I would not go to the store again. They always mess up on everything. Their employees are very rude. Very mean very unprofessional. Go to a different Dunkin’ Donuts even if it’s 10 minutes. Five minutes over it is not worth going...
Read moreI honestly cannot believe how this location continues to stay open. My son specifically wanted Dunkin last Saturday and so I placed an order on the app for pumpkin munchkins, , another grouping of assorted munchkins and a coffee roll. We arrived, and the nice girl behind the counter had to tell us that they did not carry or were out of more than half of what I had placed the order for. Sadly, what they did have a what is not what we came for so I just requested that they refunded the prepaid online app. She went to get the manager and the manager was so incredibly rude and basically faulted me for placing an app order for some thing they don’t carry. As if I were to know based on their app, what they were out of stock of and what they don’t carry at that location…. obviously the app isn’t in sync with their availability. This is not my fault. Isn’t that what the app is for? Why did I deserve the attitude? Honestly I don’t know and I didn’t even show 1 ounce of frustration that they didn’t have what I ordered. I just wanted a credit for what I pre-paid on the app. So to have an attitude like that, come from a manager was extremely off-putting. She said I had to go through the app to request a refund or cancel the order, rolled her eyes and walked off. I go to the app to cancel the order and that was not an option, I go to the app to request customer assistance that was not working, I tried this on and off all weekend and at the end of it the eight dollars that I spent was not worth the level of annoyance that this caused and the amount of frustration that that manager caused.
It’s just donuts. Try and make it an enjoyable customer experience.
I still never got my money back and that visit was a reminder of why I do not do business with Dunkin’ Donuts, particularly...
