Update: Time heals all wounds, or so you'd think. Decided to give them another chance after multiple really bad services and messed up orders here. Did an online order which should be pretty simple. They don't have anything to mess up. Double-checked my online order to make sure it was correct before I called and complained. Messed up my order again. And I'll be damned if there wasn't a person in line or in the restaurant, but they made me pull forward and wait rather than at the window. The drive-thru is not big enough for this so this really is an inconvenience. Then I had to wait for a good 7 or 8 minutes for my fast food to arrive. Mind you, this was a mobile order. Ordered some chicken biscuits which I wanted to try out. Ordered one without the sauce. Two with the sauce. Not a one of them. Had the sauce on it. Ordered a biscuit sausage sandwich and the sausage was so burnt that it was hard. Had a charred taste to it. The potatoes were okay va. They got something right. So disappointing. So very very disappointing man. Why do I keep going back to this place?.
The new restaurants finally opened. Decided to drop in for lunch. Haven't been to Wendy's in a while. Ordered online so I was sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. Got there and true to form. They messed up the order. Left items out. Didn't make sandwiches properly. Fries were ice cold. I ordered a meal deal with a double burger with bacon. No onion had onion. The wife ordered a Dave's single only lettuce, pickle tomato. No cheese or anything else. Came with cheese. My meal deal was supposed to have a large drink and a large fry. I got a small drink and a large fry. The wife's meal deal had medium fry medium drink. She got a large drink and a small fry. I don't know why. I'm surprised. We rarely go to fast food anymore because the service is horrible and the food is just as bad. Hope this helps somebody out. Would not recommend this location. The wife did say the staff was apologetic. But at that point the damage is...
Read moreTo any genuinely interested party. Regarding a disastrous visit to your 914 Conant St, Maumee, OH store. This store has recently been rebuilt, so one would think, given the rebuild time, the staff would have had plenty of time to be trained and upon opening be a well-oiled machine. It appears corporate dropped the ball. Our order, our service, our food, all a disgrace. First, after placing our order at the drive-thru, we find the order deliveries are backed up a minimum of five deep in a space only planned for two, apparently another failure on corporate’s part. The casher insisted we pull ahead to clear the window when any casual observer could see there was no place to go, the line and lot being locked up due to their incompetence. That not being enough, once our order finally arrived, the attendant handed it off as if it were a baton, with no explanation, apology, nor a reply when asked if it was the right order. Verifying the order is a question-and-answer session common in the restaurant used to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction, failures on both parts. Then we get home to fine the orders inaccuracy. Ordered; Classic Chicken Combo and Spicy Chicken Combo, received a plain, undress, nothing on it spicey chicken combo with a sweeten iced tea – an option of sweeten or unsweetened never given, and an unordered undressed cheeseburger combo. The final insult, if you will, was the overcharge and lack of a receipt to provide proof. It is a sad, sad day when a Wendy’s who use to pride themselves on quality on all fronts, has taken a deep dive into the abyss of dis-concern. That said, in case it is not obvious, we will not be bolstering their profits...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying out Wendy's drive-through, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food.
Let's start with the star of the show, the spice nuggets. These bite-sized nuggets pack a punch of flavor with their spicy seasoning. I found them to be a delicious and unique take on traditional chicken nuggets. They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making for a perfect texture combination. If you're a fan of spicy food, I highly recommend giving Wendy's spice nuggets a try.
Moving on to the double cheeseburger, it was also a winner in my book. The patty was juicy and flavorful, and the combination of cheese, pickles, onions, and ketchup made for a tasty burger experience. The bun was soft and held up well, even with all the delicious toppings. Overall, Wendy's double cheeseburger is a great option for those looking for a classic burger.
And let's not forget about the fries. While they may not be as famous as Five Guys' fries, I have to say, Wendy's fries are a close second in my book. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of salt. Plus, they were served hot and fresh, which is always a plus.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a quick and delicious fast-food meal, Wendy's drive-through is definitely worth a visit. Their spice nuggets and double cheeseburgers are both tasty options, and their fries are a close second...
