Very disappointed in both the service and the food. I've been here many times, but tonight may have been my last. Passed up on Taco Ole and Herradura just to walk into poor service and poor food. Our waitress brought out our choriqueso appetizer without tortillas, and without plates. I had to ask her to bring the tortillas. My wife and daughter were eating chiriqueso off of napkins. When I addressed my concern to her, she claimed she was busy with other tables. When my food came, combination plate, I could smell the spoiled fajitas before I ate them. Im not a picky eater, but I had to let the manager at the time know. When my new waitress came to give me my bill, Almost $100.00 for 3 people by the way, she told me she had talked to the manager and said he was going to discount my check. I told her that wasn't the point. I told her I wanted them to know because usually, people don't express their concern, they usually just leave and don't come back. Needless to say, when I got up to pay my bill, the manager walked away from the register, went to the back, and never returned. Poor service and poor food is why I will not be returning back to this restaurant. The prices have gotten out of hand too. Sad, because I used to praise this place. I hope Zamoras management reads this and makes some changes. It was a Friday night, and not very many people were there. That's not a very good sign for your restaurant. I hope someone starts caring, because if I feel this way, Im sure many others do to. Most people don't take time to write a review, but hopefully this will open their eyes and will make...

Maybe I missed something. Maybe it was due to ordering via phone. Maybe it was just the McColl location. What I do miss is the $42 I spent for a Botana. Very disappointing and here's why,
Starting with the sides: Tortillas had that typical uncooked light brown appearance. Found in most places in the valley, but not everywhere.
Rice: Dry with peas and carrots mixed in. (Tasted like box instant rice.
Beans: Beans were good to go. Tasted creamy and light.
Chips: Soaked in oil, (bottom of bag falling apart)
Salsa: Pretty good... better than most
Botana:
Grilled onions not cooked Grilled bell pepper not cooked, appeared to be thrown over heat and dumped on the plate.
Cheese: Good and melted, but centered not covering the entire dish.
Fajita:
This is the main issue. It appears they pounded out the meat to give an appearance of a big serving. There was maybe and I mean maybe .75 pounds of thin, (2/16th of an inch) meat made to look like it will feed 3 people. It appeared as if the cook threw it on the grill, removed it and didn't finish cutting it into portion sizes. A lot of the meat was crumbles of meat, which I take happen from pounding it flat. For the price of this meal and being they have two locations, you would expect more. It was my first time at this location, (McColl).
Would I go back? I'm a strong believer in folks having bad days so I'm willing to try their other location and...
Read moreBreakfast was good and it would of been better if service was good too however, i waited for over 10 minutes and my waitress, name was Nora, never returned to my table. I tried getting her and anyone else"s attention but they were all too busy talking and laughing behind the counter. needless to say my food was cold and the only one that came by was the lady that picks up the dirty dishes. so i told her to take my plate. i was waiting for tortillas but at that point i was upset that my food was cold. i paid my tab and left upset. When i got home i called and asked to speak to the manager and the girl who answered said her name was Lilly said there was no manager, so i asked to speak to the owner or co-owner, the lady that always sits in table one. Lilly said no one was there for me to speak to. I told her it was concerning an issue i just had there and she said sorry no one here for you to speak to. I told her i knew she was saying a lie cause i just saw her go in her office and she still would not let me talk to anyone. I will never eat there again, and for those of you who might think food taste is better than service, once you get the same service and end up leaving still hungry then you will feel as i do. a restaurant where the owners tell the employees not to let customers with complaints talk to managers or owners is not a good place of business. What else are...
