KB's McCall — Restaurant in McCall

We go to KB's in Hailey often and we stop at the one in McCall once or twice a year. The food is always great and their gluten free tortillas are the best. The service at both locations is always just ok. The people aren't really friendly but not necessarily rude. This time the service was bad and the food was ok. The young man running the front was rude. After every item I ordered he asked if that was everything and we have a family of 7 so clearly after the first order that wasn't everything. We found a hair in my daughter's food. I took it up and they said they'd remake it. When the kid brought it out he told us the hair was white and no one in the kitchen had white hair. Like he was trying to blame it on my daughter but she's brunette, but the hair was indeed black. The water cups had old food in them and they stunk and the plates were dirty. Probably won't be going back...

Honestly not that bad. I've been here twice now and the food is pretty good. It is a bit pricey here so keep that in mind.

I recommend the horchata (very good). I also had an enchilada, however it was just two corn tortillas with chicken, cheese, and sauce sandwiched in between. The enchilada still tasted good though. R&B salad was very good.

Keep in mind the chip bar is something you have to also pay for. Saw a dude walk up that hadn't payed and just start eating chips and dipping them in salsa trays right on the spot. Doesn't seem sanitary.

Overall, this place is a pretty decent restaurant for lunch and I recommend it....

Normally I've had a pretty good experience here. The food is not too bad and it's got a good vibe. This time was not so stellar. My soup was cold. Not a bit deal so I ask politely if they could warm it up a bit. Rather than apologize, the young man, just looked at me, hesitated, almost like he didn't believe me, then responded "Okay....." Not exactly sure what that meant. Quite along time later, he brought out the soup with out any apology or recognition of sub par quality. The soup was SCAULDING hot! I had to wait another 10 minutes just for it to cool down. Not the best...
