North Fork Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in McCall

North Fork Coffee has really impressed me. Living in California, I’m always on the lookout for unique, quality-driven small roasters to support—and North Fork hit the mark. I recently ordered two bags of decaf: the Damselfly Southwest Dark Roast and the Hummingbird Decaf Espresso. Both options had that full-bodied flavor I love in decaf, and the Damselfly was organic, which is a huge plus. At $15 a bag, the price feels reasonable given the quality and the chance to support a small, thoughtful operation.

One point to note: the Damselfly bag had a roast date about 3-4 weeks old, while the Hummingbird didn’t have a date listed. I understand that as a smaller roaster, decaf may not turn over as quickly, but it would be great to see roast dates on all bags for freshness tracking. Adding more info about the beans’ country of origin would also enhance the experience. Knowing the story behind each coffee adds so much to the enjoyment and connection.

Ordered a half calf, sugar free mocha. Its was awful, I have never disliked a coffee so much that i wanted to throw it away. I have order this from other places and loved it. I went up and asked if they could remake it and not use the sugar free mocha. Their response was "we made it correct, if you dont like it oh well."
