Went twice, the first sat at the drive through window for almost 10 minutes and never so much as can you hold on please. So we drove away, obviously. The second time at 8:15 on Friday night, we walked up and ordered wings and subs (25 minutes for 10 wings? But okay whatever it's not a big deal). I decide to get ice cream, so you have to go inside. I go ask a quick question and tell the employee (older lady) that I will be getting two small vanilla servings but I'm not sure what topping my friend in the car wanted, as there is no menu posted. Upon coming back to the same door 15 seconds or less later, it is locked. I then ask at the window why the door is locked to have a different young RUDE female employee (tall/long dark hair pulled up) that they are no longer serving ice cream. I said excuse me but I just was in the room ordering not even 30 seconds ago. She informs me "oh well, we are too busy" 5 employees can't handle a tiny pizza trailer? After voicing how rude I thought I was treated the employee turns around and mocks me to others inside. Are you kidding? The fact that as soon as I turn around the door is locked as quickly as possible is unacceptable, and beyond rude. It would have taken a 5 year old one minute to put together that ice cream. Overall: was at local cabin for family vacation, and finally found a pizza spot that was actually open. Many of the pizza joints and other local restaurants are closed several days at the beginning of the week. Pizza and cheesticks were really good.
Food: got a large extra cheese and pepperoni pizza and order of cheese breadsticks. Pizza was really good. More on the thinner crust side, which made the toppings come out. Cheese was melted and tasty, as was the sauce. Cheese sticks were also really good. In fact, better than most chain pizza places, namely some bad experiences are Pizza Hut.
Service: it is a small drive thru spot, so it was a little hard to figure out if it was a drive thru or what. We pulled behind and it appeared a few employees were chillin'. It was walk up and grab, which it was hot and ready in minutes.
Value: $18 for a large and breadsticks. Pretty good, especially for good taste.
Summary: if you need some good, easy pizza for the family check this...
Read moreI used to. Love Paps pizza That’s the only pizza I would order. But the last few times I bought a pizza there were tons of garlic. I hate garlic! A little goes a long ways. I do not like my food smothered in garlic. The crust was tough and rubbery. We my company had to cut it so we could eat. We were disappointed . We will not be ordering a pizza from Papss again unless they improve. HUNTS PIZZA at SHELL is our go to place to buy pizza .
