After a recent trip to Las Vegas left me underwhelmed in the noodle department, I made a mental note: find a local spot that would redeem the experience. And baby, Thai Time did just that.
From the moment I opened the containers, I knew I was about to be fed right. Let’s get into the P & C’s on this meal.
⸻
Pros: • I started with the Tom Yum Kai (Spicy Chicken Soup)—and listen, I’m not exaggerating when I say it was cooked to perfection. The broth was rich and full of flavor, with a bold chicken essence and that “razzle dazzle” you don’t get from basic soups. It had green peppers, mushrooms, and tender chicken nestled at the bottom, soaking up every bit of that seasoned broth like a hidden treat waiting to be scooped.Thick, flavorful, and comforting. A win from the first sip.
• Next up, the 3-flavor wings (lemon pepper, sriracha sweet chili honey, and sweet & sour) came paired with flavorful rice that gave fried rice vibes without being too greasy. The wing flavoring? Chef’s kiss. • The Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles) came with veggies that were crisp and vibrant—carrots, onions, snow peas, bean sprouts, scallions, and eggs all stir-fried to still have that bite. Not soggy, not overdone. Just fresh and full of flavor. The portion? Let’s just say the styrofoam container split from the weight. Enough said. • I also ordered the House Noodles with beef and medium spice—loaded with lo mein noodles, veggies, and flavor. While I discovered I’m not a thick noodle girl, it was still flavorful and packed with goodness. • Real talk: I ate off this order for three whole days. Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday. Morning, lunch, and dinner. And I didn’t share—not a bite. It was that good.
⸻
Cons: • The house noodles weren’t for me not because of the seasoning, but simply because I realized I’m not a fan of thicker or egg-style noodles. Give me those angel/glass noodles any day. • The wings lost a little crisp from the packaging. That steam trapped in the paper container made them a little soft. I’d definitely try them fresh in the restaurant next time to get the full crunch experience.
⸻
Final Thoughts:
Even with the minor critiques, this was a solid 10/10.
From the quality to the quantity, to the layered flavors—Thai Time gave what it needed to give and then some. I feasted like a queen, enjoyed every bite, and found my new go-to Thai spot. I will be...
Read moreWe were driving from TN and decided to stop here. We arrived at this restaurant at 4:02pm on a Sunday. The sign written on the door stated Monday-Friday - Lunch 11:30am-3:00pm. Sundays open from 11:30-10pm. A lady approaches the door and begins to unlock it. My sister, confused, due to the apparent misleading and incorrect time stated on the door asked the lady if they were just opening up. The lady said yes we were closed for lunch and said “ it’s on the sign” and walked away. We could immediately tell that something was off with her and just decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, hey maybe she was having a bad day? We asked her if pets were allowed as I had my 9 lb miniature poodle on the drive. She said No it’s not allowed and we immediately told her it’s okay we understand as not all places do allow pets. So we decided to do takeout. The woman had an obvious attitude throughout the whole ordering process. After we paid we asked her if we could have an extra takeout tray because we don’t have plates on us as we are driving. She told us they charge extra for that. We asked for extra forks and she also told us they charge for that as well. My sister explained to her at the end that the sign was misleading and the woman pulled out a menu with the correct times. I said yes, but the sign is incorrect in comparison to the menu. I told her she was being rude from the moment we approached the door. She then told me she was being rude from the moment we asked if a pet can come in here. This tells me and anyone else who is clearly reading this post that she 1) was aware of her rudeness and 2) that If it were a service dog which she did not ask, she would have an issue with it regardless of if it was someone with a disability or not. I would rather not be sitting here on a long drive writing a review but this woman’s customer service and attitude was absolutely appalling. If the food tasted like rainbows and sparkles I still would not give this place...

I am totally dissatisfied and disappointed with an experience I've had at this establishment. I sent for a carry out just before they closed on 7/6/17. When I received my food it was incorrect. I called back but they had already closed, so no answer. Today on 7/7/17, I brought the food back, & asked for a refund due to the meal being incorrect. I ordered basil fried rice with chicken. There was no chicken. While at the restaurant today, I was told that I could not have my money back nor would they remake my order. I live in this community & I patronize Thai Time often. At this point I feel totally upset & totally not appreciated. I could not enjoy my meal and I could not have my money back. In addition, I was met with rudeness. I was told that it's my fault, I should have checked my order before I left and no I could not have a refund. I was also told that I could call the health department and complain if I wanted to. This is not how you treat customers, especially loyal customers as myself. It is not good business practice to tell a customer that it is their fault that their meal is incorrect. It shouldn't matter when I notice the error, if there's an error you should try to make it right....
