I really don’t know where to start. First, my daughter and I arrived at the hotel for Mother’s Day weekend. We were excited because our living situation is not ideal and we wanted to get away. We checked in at 3:18pm and were told to call if we did not have towels in our rooms. I didn’t understand why I would have to call because towels are standard in a room. When we walked into the room, we immediately realized that this was not the room that I reserved. Our room was supposed to have a separate living room area where my daughter could watch what she wanted on the tv and I could watch what I wanted. We wanted our own space. I called down to the front desk to make the clerk aware of this. She stated that this was the room I booked but it’s not. My daughter and I were disappointed. I called back to the front desk to request a room change to a one bedroom suite. The clerk stated that there were no more rooms like that available until tomorrow. I checked on the website and there were actually three rooms available that would accommodate our stay. My daughter and I were disappointed. We just wanted to take a shower and go to sleep. She looked in the bathroom and there were no towels or washcloths. I called the front desk to request towels. I called about five times from the room phone and no one picked up. I decided to call from my cell phone and guess what? The front desk clerk picked up. I was intentionally being ignored. I requested the towels. I was told to give her a few minutes to bring it up. Fast forward to an hour later. We still had not received our towels and washcloths. My daughter asked that I call back. I called twice before someone picked up the phone. I requested our towels again. The front desk clerk stated again that she would bring it up in a few minutes. Fast forward two hours later (around 6:30pm). I called the front desk again. The clerk sounded like a different person. I could tell this was not Nina, the person who checked us in. I requested towels again. I don’t know if this is in your employee training manual or what, but I was told to give her a few minutes because she put some towels in the dryer a few minutes ago. Fast forward about two hours later (around 8:45pm). Guess what, there are still no towels. At this point my daughter and I were completely over this place and decided that we were going to check out in the morning and try to find someplace else for the remainder of the weekend. Around 9:15pm we still didn’t have towels and washcloths to bathe. We changed into our pajamas, having not bathed, praying that tomorrow would come quickly so that we could find other accommodations and our entire weekend would not be a bust. When we woke up in the morning, I contacted customer service to launch a complaint. I explained everything that had transpired and was told that someone from the hotel would contact me. Someone did contact me and I was told that this was the room I booked and that she couldn’t say much about the towels because of the way they were laundering them it was taking a longer time. She did say that I could leave if I wanted to. I called customer service back and the representative told me to call back when I check out. My daughter and I got dressed and we went looking for other accommodations. When we found it, we returned to the hotel to get our bags and checked out. They were of no help. I want my money back for that...
Read moreAs a military representative, I will never stay here again. At 1st, I checked in around Xmas time frame and expected to stay for more than 90days. I asked if this would be possible to accommodate me. The GM reached out and made things happened. Great. But then here comes the beginning of the year! 2024 already unprofessionalism by the employees with guess. Within the 1st 2weeks of Jan. 2024 there was a disturbance above me. A lot of stomping early in the morning 5am to late at night 11pm constantly. No matter how much I called or went up to the front desk to ask if something can be done. Nothing was. Then the finally week of my rudely departure from the hotel. Casey/Cassandra was very rude towards myself for asking her too many questions. I wasn’t sure what her problem was but I tried to explain to her why I was paying at a certain rate for an extended stay period. I spoke to her GM about her rudeness but that clearly wasn’t addressed in a time enough manner because just within the same week a couple of days later. Cassandra has a problem with me asking questions on why I had to sign another paperwork for a different date. Cassandra then threatened to block me from staying at the hotel again. And told me to just sign the papers and go to my room! To think this was professional it was not! I filed a 2nd complaint to her GM. And heard nothing back as of yet from the 1st complaint now the 2nd. And the fact that she could just use her powers to do actions without a real warrant is more than unprofessional! Whatever bad day she was having she clearly took a target out on me. To threaten me on when and where I can be and with such down talking towards me. As a combat military personnel I know I had more self control than she did. But I will never recommend or do business again with this type of disrespect or regards towards me on a personal or...
Read moreThis was my first experience with an IHG facility that I can remember. This location is placed near great shopping and restaurants! The bed was comfortable, as was the recliner for relaxing. The large workspace/table was a great addition to the room. The full size refrigerator was great to have. The coffee pot could be larger, (if you’re a big coffee drinker, bring your own pot or be prepared to make multiple pots during the morning as it’s only a six cup maker). The induction style stove takes a little getting used to and only works for 15 minutes at a time on a timer that must be reset constantly if you’re cooking something that takes some time. The cookware provided is nice but STUCK with anything I cooked no matter how much cooking spray I used. The dishwasher is nice however very loud so I would suggest running it when you’re not going to be in the room for a little while. Bathroom is nice but water pressure seemed to be a bit on the low side.
The only real problem I had with my stay was the housekeeping schedule. Full services were only scheduled for once a week during my stay. This conflicted with a card that was left in my room that stated that there would be at least a daily room refresher. This daily room refresher did not happen once during my stay. I also had two requests for in between cleaning disregarded. I simply asked for someone to come and run a vacuum cleaner and sweep as I was doing my best to keep things wiped down and even bought my own dishwasher tabs and rinse aid because I got tired of asking for them from the front desk, just not my thing to have to ask for something like that all the time. Other than that my stay was incredible and will definitely stay at a...
