Sadden by this experience as I brought friends and family that have never been. Not a single person finished their food, it was lower-mid at best, all which arrived at our table luke warm. I ordered the Double Smash Burger with JUST Cheese, Ketchup, and Mustard, a loaded baked potato in place of fries. I was asked if I actually wanted loaded. To which I replied YES, and they proceeded to tell me that loaded meant: Sour Cream, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, and Broccoli. I said, "Sounds great." It wasn't until it arrived that our table realized none of us were asked how we wanted our burgers or steaks cooked. We should've caught that, but our waitress wasn't the best. She spent more time hanging out with 2 other waiters while our food went cold. My double smash burger was neither crispy nor hot and came with grilled onion I did not want. Scraped them off and asked for the ketchup and mustard I ordered. The 3 other people didn't eat their French fries. They all said they were cold and soft. I tried one.. and agreed. After 2 bites of the steak, it was determined it would be taken back to the dog and see if he would eat it. The 2 of us ordered burgers, ate half, and left the rest behind. The drinks were served flat. This was called to the attention of Jess P. our waitress, she simply replaced it with the same flat drink and then proceeded to bring another and was told to please stop bringing the drink as it was still flat, water would be preferred from this point forward. The wait for our check was a long process. We all placed napkins over our plates, clear indication we would not eat any further. She continued to hang with other wait staff at the podium. I could understand if her section was full... but it was just us and another 4 top. We were going to draw straws to see who was going to approach her for our check when she decided to come over. When she returned with it and said she would be back, we kindly asked her not to leave, as we just wanted to pay and leave. I was so excited to share this place with others, crushed they did not have the same experience I enjoyed a few weeks prior. To end on a good note: The Strawberry Lemonade was FIRE! 10 out of 10, definitely would recommend! Absolutely the best part of our experience except for the host at the front, he was quite pleasant and informative and had a wonderful smile.

Ahoy there, my good friend! I have returned from a most epic feast at the 54th st Restaurant and Draft house, and let me tell you, it was a journey of culinary delight! Our journey began when we were greeted by a fair maiden by the name of Jasmine, who guided us to our table with the grace of a swan and the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. She regaled us with tales of the wondrous fare that awaited us, and we knew we were in good hands. Our first course was a plate of shrooms that were plump and juicy, with a flavor as bold as a warrior's battle cry. They were fried and stuffed to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to send our taste buds into a frenzy. Next, we were presented with a mountain of nachos that would make even the most battle-hardened warrior tremble with delight. The cheese was melted to a gooey perfection, and the chips were as crunchy as a knight's armor. The toppings were piled high and varied, like an army of flavors storming our taste buds. But the piece de resistance was the calamari, which were as tender and succulent. They were lightly breaded and fried to a golden perfection, with a tangy dipping sauce that was as mysterious and alluring as a siren's call. Throughout our journey, Jasmine was the shining star, attending to our every need with a smile as bright as the sun. She was as knowledgeable and wonderful. In conclusion, I must say that the 54th st Restaurant and Draft house is a true gem among the lands of culinary excellence, and Jasmine is a treasure among servers. If you seek a feast fit for a king or queen, look no further than this establishment. I give it a five-star rating, with the highest honors!!!

Tried this place today for a little Mother’s Day treat with my daughter. I was happy to see only a 10-minute wait, which was a pleasant surprise for a holiday. The vibe was nice—typical sports bar style but felt more family-friendly and relaxed, which I appreciated. We weren’t too hungry, so we ordered light: the beef nachos, fried pickles, and a key lime pie to-go. • Nachos: Unfortunately, these were a miss for me. Flavor-wise they weren’t bad, but the toppings weren’t well-distributed—mostly dry chips with very little to balance them out. No visible beans either. I’d give them a 4/10. • Pickle Fries: I really wanted to like these, but they were overwhelmingly salty. Since pickles are already salty, the breading needed to balance, not amplify it. Sadly, they were inedible—2/10 for this one. • Key Lime Pie: The flavor was nice, but the crust completely crumbled apart. It lacked the structure to hold the pie together—almost like it needed a better binder. More of a dust than a crust, which was a bit disappointing. I usually try to avoid chain spots for this reason—lesson learned. That said, I have a feeling this place probably nails burgers, fries, and wings. I’d consider giving it another shot and ordering what they’re really known for. Our server was polite and presentable, though a bit hurried even though the place wasn’t packed. My daughter tried to chat with her, which was sweet, but it didn’t quite land. Still, she was courteous and professional. Overall: lovely time with my girl, but food was a miss this time. Grateful for the moment, but not rushing back—unless it’s for burgers.

Our family has been ordering home delivery from this 54th Street location for over a year now and we have never had an issue with delivered food. My kids love the street kid burgers and waffle fries. Other household favorites include the burgers, steaks, gyro, and gringo dip.

We've eaten at-location twice. The location is about what you would expect from current day sports leaning bars. Lots of TVs, especially around the bar, an eclectic mix of memorabilia on the walls, and Americana leaning music, mostly country and classic Rock with the random top 40 from fifteen years ago mixed in.

The first time the service was good. There was a slight mix up when our steak came out and I received another customer's well done steak, and he received my medium steak. The server noticed the mix up immediately and took both steaks back immediately. We were a few tables apart under the same server in the same section. Mistakes happen, the steak was re-made, and it turned out tasty. Slight inconvenience but overall the food was good, service was excellent, and there was nothing to complain about. The manager came by and apologized all over himself, but we assured him everything was okay, that it was just a mistake, etc. We were not unhappy at all and the manager was very apologetic.

Our must recent trip we were seated under a very attentive server. She took our order promptly, made sure we always had drinks more than half-full on the table, and was very quick to remedy any minor issues. Unfortunately the quality of the steak on this trip was just not good. I'm not sure if the restaurant has made any alterations to the recipes being used to prep meat in the kitchen, but there was an overwhelming, unpleasant smoke flavor to the steak. I hesitated to send the steak back, but the server insisted another steak be cooked. I do not like to send food back, I apologized for inconveniencing her and the kitchen, but the smoke flavor was so overwhelming the steak was really inedible. When the steak was replaced it was cooked closer to order temperature and the flavor was a little less smokey, but still undesirably strong. It was good enough to eat most of and we took the leftovers home. After warming the remainder to eat at home it was quite rare on the end that was left uneaten in the restaurant. The steak was ordered medium and after reheating at home there were dark red areas in the middle of the steak. The overall texture was also not great, nearly like it was steamed and the sear was non-existent. The server was, again, awesome. She apologized, informed the manager, discussed a course of action with the kitchen, and did her best to make it right. But at the end of the day the steak was just disappointing. I had hoped the manager would stop by so I could ask what changed regarding the steak preparation, but at no point did he stop by our table. Gringo dip was still great, my husband enjoyed his gyro, but the steak was a giant disappointment.

Overall, despite the great service, the food being sub -par at a restaurant (and in this economy) makes me think we should try another local steak and burger joint. :-/ sad to say because we had really grown to...

Honestly the worst first experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant ever. My brother decided to take our family out for dinner since I have a baby due in literally 4 days. For starters, everything we tried to order (5-6 things) the waitress kept coming back to back to tell us they were out of it. The apps we DID get, were cold. (I ate the cold cheese sticks anyways because I was starving- mind you 9 months pregnant ).my brother was eating his nachos when he looked down and a fly had landed on them. Which he said no big deal because they were cold anyways. Then the food we ordered, my brother didn’t eat any of his, my husband ate a few bites of his fajita but his corn tortillas were cold (which if you know, corn tortillas fall apart if they aren’t warmed/cooked), THEN the pasta I ordered they were also out of so I ordered the fajitas as well, (my tortilla were slightly warm but I had to wait while everyone else had their food in front of them to even eat) The rice was SO dry and the shrimp was undercooked that I had to spit it out. We spoke to the manager and he took my husband fajitas off and gave us a gift card for two apps For the next visit. My brother paid the bill and after, We tried to wait for the manager again after a fly landed on MY food as well but the waitress and manger had completely disappeared for 15 mins of waiting so we just left. it’s crazy to me that my brother paid $100 for kids chicken nuggets, kids Mac and cheese, cheese sticks, one beer in a bottle and some sweet teas. We are SUPER understanding people as we’ve spent time in the food industry and we know how things go and hate complaining but at this point it was ridiculous. We are now on the way to a fast food restaurant so us 3 adults can actually eat something. My husband gave the gift card to another table walking out because we absolutely will...
