I cannot recall the Ukranian girl's name (never introduced herself but I do remember her mentioning once that she is Ukranian) but she was incredibly rude last night. Ordered sweet potato fries and they came out burnt and winkly and old looking twice. After the 2nd batch I tried explaining to her why I don't like them and she then went on this massive tirade about how "all the girls here" talk negatively about me all the time because I like my fries not burnt. Her tirade was long, extremely rude, and went on so long I could hardly have time to speak. I was never rude to her at all. Later on I tried asking the hostess Giselle for the Ukranian girl's name since she was nearby and I didn't want to cause much of a scene and she also thought she'd "school me" on how all the workers here think this and that about when I visit. Her excuse was "it's just Twin Peaks" & "your waitress has worked long hours and has a kid" and that "people are allowed to speak to others anyway they want." So because of these things I should except my over charred, burnt, terrible fries. Extremely odd situation especially since I've had this issue corrected plenty of times before but not this night with the crew that had apparently. Culture in this restaurant has completely gone down the drain 1 year after it's opening. Apparently I am not supposed to bring up when my food comes out poorly here without being talked about and scolded from...

Maybe eating at the actual restaurant would be better but my wife was in the area after work and decided to get take out to bring home. Order said it would be ready at 7:07. Wife showed up at 7:05 and said she waited almost 20 minutes to get food. When she got home the food was cold. You could tell it had obviously been sitting out for a bit. Daughter ordered a turkey sandwich but doesn't like sweet potato fries so we subbed for regular fries. Well she got sweet potato fries anyway. She couldn’t even eat the sandwich saying the turkey tasted bad. Ordered our granddaughter some Mac n cheese and French fries but they left out the Mac n cheese. Wife order a meal with Mac n cheese as a side and when she opened the Mac n cheese there were maybe 3 or 4 bites worth in the cup. For spending $70 for takeout it was a very disappointing meal. We all ended up throwing most of our food away and then ordered pizza. I know it’s take out and the quality is going to suffer a bit from the food steaming in the containers and from the time it takes to bring it home, but this was just plain bad, like they didn’t care. Just moved here from another city where we loved to eat at twin peaks so we will give this location another try but will definitely have to eat at the restaurant. I would avoid take out at this place and will never...

Don’t bother hanging out at the bar if you are a female- you’ll be ignored, and ultimately cut off.

The photo is my BAC AFTER drinking a cocktail at home AFTER being cut off from service an hour ago (just for reference)

I wasn’t being obnoxious, rude, hateful, or any other adjectives you may attribute to someone being kicked out of a bar, I was simply cut off after one beer and 1 weak cosmo. I was with a friend, we were speaking to a few patrons around the bar, having a great time, when we wanted to order another round. It took an act of congress to be acknowledged by bar staff (not sure why, other than we were 2 decent looking women that were getting a tiny bit of attention) and after the third attempt to get a bartenders attention, we had the gentlemen next to us call to a bartender- all of a sudden a women appeared to acknowledge us- we asked for 2 more cosmos, she walked away, and a few moments later, the manager comes over and said we were cut off….. cut off? I mean, I get it, I owned a night club for years and you’re entitled to cut someone off if you feel they are drunk- but we weren’t- nor did we act “drunk” - meanwhile, they continued to serve the VERY drunk men opposite of us at the bar……

I guess if you’re female, you’re not treated the same as men…. Too bad, because I don’t tip...

I recently dined at Twin Peaks in McKinney and was blown away by the amazing service I received from Sofi, El, and Jordan. From the moment I walked in, they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. Sofi greeted me with a warm smile and made sure that I was comfortable throughout my meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and helped me choose the perfect dish. El was constantly checking in on me to make sure that everything was to my liking and that I had everything I needed. Jordan was quick to refill my drink and made sure that I never had to wait long for anything. The food at Twin Peaks was delicious, but it was the service from Sofi, El, and Jordan that truly set this dining experience apart. I will definitely be returning to Twin Peaks in McKinney and will be asking for Sofi, El, and Jordan to take care of me again. They are a true asset to the restaurant and made my evening one to remember. 5 stars all the way!

THIS IS VERY GROSS.... I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Twin Peaks in Mckinney off 380 an Hardin that I feel compelled to share. Upon ordering a soda, I was shocked and disgusted to find a band-aid floating in my drink. This is not only highly unsanitary but also completely unacceptable for any dining establishment with the very few woman that go here. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they weren't very apologetic with easing my discomfort and loss of appetite. the Manager Johnny seemed very annoyed. Unfortunately, this incident overshadowed the rest of the meal, making it one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. I hope the restaurant takes immediate action to address such hygiene issues to prevent future occurrences. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!
